For those parties who are interested:
Once agian it has so happened that I am in possesion of slaves, presumably Minmatars, but they could be a mix bag. I've not seen this bunch personally, as I only know of them through checking my various inventories via computer. They are in the Mamet system in the Domain region.
I've had them for some time and I know they haven't been tended to so I know not thier condition nor how many are left. Now it's been on my mind to travel to the station and jet can them by the sun, as I so often like to do when I'm in possesion of various groups of human cargo in my hangers. I have not taken people on a trip to feel that sweet release in far too long.
Now as appealing as that idea is, what I would like to do is save myself the trip frankly, or the trouble at least.
Is there a representative of CVA or the Amarrian government that I could offload these "individuals" to? Being so close to CVA space I assume they were in service localy.
The last time I had slaves I tried to do a good thing and hand them over to what I believed to be an agent for an underground free slave movement. Only to find out that this wretched woman took these slaves for herself, and what ones she didn't find use for she ate. I believe that there are better uses for slaves than food for the insane.
If you can be of assistance in my handing these runaways over to the proper authority or interested party then please mail or private convo me over my hailing frequency or reply with your interests here on Galnet.

The Epitoth Fleetyards would willingly take them off you for use in our capital ship program.
Shelter, food and medical treatment will be provided before they receive proper training on the required tools and in Amarr civics. We work strictly according to SPCS guidelines.
Which reminds me of a question I always wanted to ask Lord Murkon: is there a way to be certified by the SPCS?

I do not know to whom you delivered the slaves previously (though I might venture a few guesses), but I can assure you that the Electus Matari can ensure homes, education, and a place in the Republic to any freed slaves you would allow me to transport.
You may not care what happens to the slaves, but it costs you nothing to allow me to take them off your hands and restore them to their homeland. Please give us the opportunity to serve you and our brethren in this way. |

An excellent idea. The Matari slave can be re-homed. I will be more than happy with all the rest.
I look forward to your reply Mr. Redpants

Redpants, I would be happy to take these slaves off your hands. If you're comfortable with contracting them over to myself, that would be ideal; if you prefer a direct exchange, I'll contact you on the appropriate frequency to make an appointment.

If you're any sort of Gallentean (which, with your past actions, I've despaired of you being), you'll hand them over to the Electus Matari who will ensure that they are freed and treated with dignity and respect. Any man who calls himself a Gallentean yet would give slaves back to the Amarrians is nothing more than a coward and a slaver.
You've always sung the praises of the Gallenteans and the Federation at the expense of everything else, Redpants - why stop now? Give the slaves to the Minmatar, or you'll prove that you ARE nothing more than a murdering, hypocritical coward. ----- Mixed Metaphor is now recruiting! Contact me for details. |

Edited by: Artthana on 28/08/2007 18:34:43 I agree with you wholeheartedly, there are much better things to do with enslaved humans. Since you don't seem to want to do those things I will gladly send a representative of mine to come and collect them from you..

Laughable at best. I doubt that will be happening Artthana. In fact these people won't be being handed over to any representative of Ushra'Khan so they can be schooled and reprogrammed into criminals to fight your two faced battles. I'm sure they're already dirty enough.
I'm sorry to the rest of you "true blue" Gallenteans, hipocrites if there ever were any. Slavery is not my cause and I'm unsure of when slavery became a cause of our people. Oh, that's right, it didn't. If theres one thing I've learned in my travels across New Eden it's that the Minmatar people are pathetic. I don't support the econonmy of slavery or the practice, as I said the last time I was in this position I did hand the slaves over to the underground, and thier own people had them for a meal. Hell that was a waste, I could have done them in and actually enjoyed myself.
My sympathies for the Minmatar slave issue have run dry. It's their own fault for being put into this position in the first place and that so many Minmatars live free, and yet so many don't is all the evidence I need for my argument. I don't respect them.
So this lot will either be returned to Amarrian control for reinsertion of service or I will kill them.

It seems if your mind is made up, but if you have the time to listen to one more opinion, I give you mine. As an alternative to re-enslavement in the Amarrian Empire, I ask that you give these slaves into the care of the New Life program. In this program, then will be educated, cared for physically and emotionally, helped with any problems they would have re-integrating with society, and then given a ticket to the destination of their choice. I am currently the head of the New Life program and will gladly ship these slaves at my expense from any point in empire space. I only ask that you give me and the New Life program a fair chance in your deliberations.

Oh yes, Redpants. That's right, the Minmatar haven't freed all their brethren from slavery yet for exactly the same reason the Federation hasn't "reconquered" the Caldari State (which you seem so keen on doing). It would be a war in which victory would be uncertain and the number of lives saved might not exceed the number of lives lost. When victory and a good cost vs. gain ratio for such war becomes not only possible, but practically feasible, then it will happen.
And do you imagine that we'd be somehow better off without the Minmatar as allies? I'm under no illusions that we could hold off both the Caldari State and the Amarr Empire without aid from somewhere. Your words show a complete lack of understanding of even the basics of the cluster's politics.
As for the slaves you gave to the underground engaging in cannabalism - either you gave them to Bloodveil, which means you're an idiot, or you made it up entirely, and you're an idiot.
Either way, GTFO my Federation. ----- Mixed Metaphor is now recruiting! Contact me for details. |

The similarities between Redpants and EliteSlave Linkage suggest a similar, attention-hungry disorder. Their failure to perceive other humans as anything more than objects implies a failure in socialisation, perhaps inherent in the pod-pilot community. A person is only a slave if they are enslaved and forced to work, against their will, without payment, under threat of physical punishment or even death. The people Redpants holds are not slaves, simply people who had the misfortune to arrive in his 'care'. As an elite anti-pirate you'd expect a certain morality to defending those who can't defend themselves. This reflects badly on the whole of NSC, as usual. --------------------------------------- Outface the depths of evil with clarity --------------------------------------- |

It's always so sad to see people so uncertain of themselves that they focus their aggression on innocents who are incapable of defending themselves. If you decide you want to make an attemp at a more meaningful display of what manhood you possess, feel free to seek out any of the numerous *armed* Matari who might happen by Providence.

Edited by: Artthana on 29/08/2007 16:09:55 Edited by: Artthana on 29/08/2007 16:09:17 Many of my alliance mates told me not to try and deal with you. That you were just attention seeking. But after doing some research I found this...
Taken from North Star Confederation Website
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This announcement concerns all Capsuleer pilots and civillian captains in New Eden. The North Star Confederation is on duty in Providence.
The North Star Confederation is as its name implies, a confederation of like minded member corps dedicated to the anti-piracy movement in New Eden. [NSTAR] formed in February around the Sinq Laison and Syndicate regions. We run on a NRDS policy throughout New Eden and it is our intention to spread security in whatever regions we inhabit for neutral traffic and commercial travelers.
Pirates and other weak opportunists looking to make a living off the hard work of others are being swiftly put down wherever we see them. There is only a handful of serious dedicated anti-piracy corporations and alliances in the galaxy and the North Star Confederation is setting the bar for how the movement functions through our cohesive and potent operations.
Working side by side with our allies, while on patrol in Providence this region will be clean.
Our Alliance profile may be viewed here: Alliance Profile >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
After reading such a grand statement I came to believe that you and your alliance would act with integrity and stand up for those weak people.
You don't have to believe that slavery is illegal or even agree with the actions of my alliance to understand that leaving those weak and defenseless people in your cargo hold to suffer or to threaten to throw them into the sun is wrong.
Your actions and threats are a representation of your character and the character of your alliance.
PS. Your own signature -"My once immaculate white pants are now stained from the weak and innocent. I don't wear red." Seems to be indirect conflict with the statement of your alliance.
