Ignore the trolls. Concord was put in to fix an exploit with being able to DEFY concord when they arrived on scene to a crime in highsec. I have a very simple solution to it though, which would have just fixed any problem I feel. Concord when they hit, just insta Wreck. the SECOND they arrive on scene, .5 sec lock, first hit always hits, and deals infinite+1 damage to the ship.
Of course, you're free to try and suicide gank While they are on the way. That's fine, fair, and won't be removed. Another one bites the dust. |

Wanna know what would stop highsec ganking? (or at least slow it down a *LOT*)
CONCORD should just stop destroying gank ships. The pilot should just be ejected from their ship and hope to the stars that someone capable of flying them is not in board-ship range for the next 30 seconds...
By the time they can get in their ship again the target will have a chance to get away. Once they get in their ship CONCORD leaves them alone since all of their modules are now offline...

I'd really love to see how well you can keep a freighter armor repped when they're locked and taking damage within 4 seconds of warping into the zone, and by the time you've loaded the zone (Especially in places like Jita) and have the freighter locked and activate a repair module they're probably going to be halfway through their hull. With current game mechanics it's virtually impossible to save a freighter from a gate camp.
And the reason Concord jams drones is because of a bug where drones would keep attacking even after their commanding ship blew up.

You know what stop ganking for $$$ or slow it down greatly.
1) stop paying for concord kills if you are doing crimes in high sec.
2) make cargo scanning in high sec flag for kill rights to the corp and gang. of course if you are scanned by a gang member or corp mate should not flag. This has the added benefit in empire wars to stop the noob alts sitting in frig outside you home base scanning down your ships and fittings to relay the info to the opposing side/s.
afkers still can be scanned and ganked, people that don't go afk and pay attention to their route can see that little alt frig blinking red suddenly and tell their gang and/or corp and warp to someplace else instead of a gate camp waiting for them.
And the scanning change would make escorts more useful if they can kill the scanner in the act of scanning down their prey.
And of course if you want player X dead because they are annoying, arrogant or have done you wrong in some way, no need to scan them down just kill them.
