I liked the old warp sound, but your latest change to it has buggered it up and all I hear now is 2 really loud sonic booms. These booms are over powering when I crank up the sound to compensate for the loss of the warp sound volume.
Can you guys please come up with a better solution?
Thanks

Yeah i loved the warp sounds...lol why did ppl cry about them? Not like they were overpowering, i don't get it. Now the sound is terrible as the warp is so quiet and the sonic booms are cranked up...lol

Errr....no. Trying to talk on coms while in mid-warp was impossible. I would support a slider so the player could adjust it to their liking.

And I thought I was the only one. I upgraded to surround sound as the new patch was released. So I get the warp sound coming from the front, then it gets extremely loud in the rear, then a boom - then nothing - then a boom from the front speakers.
I thought it was just because I only hooked up 4 speakers to my 7.1 surround sound (configured for 4.)

Yeah the new warp in surround is awfully weird.

Now i'm quitting EVE...this is an outrage...well maybe not quitting, but writing a very nasty letter
Next they'll be changing AURA!
So yeah, i have a problem with being serious, but it's the almost smallest problem i have. |

Some people hated the loud warp noise before the patch, and now there are complaints its too low....

Um, so you couldn't just turn off all sound like 99% of the Eve population? You know, if you're talking, it's usually a good idea.

Heh, I did say that CCP should not make it an either-or situation. What's so hard about a "Warp Slider" in the audio options? ---

On a whole, there needs to be more sliders in this game. Its the only game ive ever played that doesnt let you tailor the visual/audio options to your personal desires. ________________________________ High Sec PvP

Not enough sliders/options. Terrible UI. No customizable macros/hotkeys. Someone might confuse Eve with a game that came out in 1985.

Make sure there's a Slider slider, that when moved increases or decreases the amount of sliders available to the user.

You know, the old warp sound was way too loud. Not that I'm extremely fond of the new sound, but I do think it's an improvement now that I've listen to it quite a few times.
The old sound was way too overpowering. I don't really understand the two sonic booms. While obviously there is no sound in space, and thus the sounds can be whatever, I think one boom entering warp and one exiting would maybe be a better answer. Or let me specify my own mp3/ogg. The new sound is a million times better than before. That said, the new sound isn't excellent by any means, but at least you can hear your corp/alliance mates talking on teamspeak over the warp sound now.

It's better than it was, for practical reasons, but EVE is still the *only* game I have played that did not have a simple and effective way to control the relative volumes of ceratain kinds of sounds.
