Hey everyone. Has anyone noticed that the blue flashing light bug while jumping to the next system is gone. Well I dont know if im crazy or not but instead of the flash bug I see a flash of the solarsystem map.
If im not crazy then does the system map have to load for everyone on jump in. I wouldnt imagine how much lagg it would put on a gang of 40 when they have to load 40 solarsystem maps all at once.
Does the solarsystem map have to load on jump in or does it sit idle until you call it up.
Btw if you dont know how much lagg the solarsystem map causes on startup go to jita. Then open your map. Ive hung up for a good 4 minutes. :)

Heh yeah I saw that too, was so fast and I was busy at the time (travelling, funnily enough) so I totally forgot about it... -

Not sure if this is the same thing you're talking about, but it's related to jumping and the map.
Whenever I jump I see a quick glimpse of the orbit rings of planets, like if you were to view the system map.

Well.. Look at it this way.
The client have to know where all the planets and objects are anyway, so I don't think removing the graphical glitch will do much to lag.
In short. All objects which can possibly show up on the overview have to be known to the client. If it shows it as a map or in overview wouldn't matter much.
