What about the MC vs Rasa frigate re-entering combat on warp-out and deliberatelly affecting the outcome of the match?
With Hedonistic Imperative out, are we awared a flawless victory or is it gimping our points?

I'd say it was not, we were never credited for that Raven anyways so we'd prefered EW superiority over that. The Maulus came back in knowlingly breaking the rules as he re-entered combat, teams have been disqualified for less.

I'm sorry but this is wrong. As clearly stated in our official statement, the yacht was blown up some minutes after we have been disqualified from the match. If you are going to eject us from the tournament then fine. But please get your facts right first. If you can not get the facts right now, it makes me wonder if you really looked at the situation properly when the first intial referee decision was made.

The GM's have always been curopt as far as the trounies go, they cut corners because it suits them, they make decisisons based on how quickly they can get home, not the real facts.
Imo we need an outside referee for some description, not afflilated with CCP who has the final call on the sitation, someone who is actually going to look at the sitution.

yes we need more outside ppl to tell ccp how to run their game. They must be impartial too and not accept money from ccp, otherwise they wouldnt be impartial.
Where do we find someone like this and why would we want such a position for a human decision process ?
Infact you dont want an outside but u want someone who decides like you would decide. Thats something different.

Oh, and look at this one. This one's awesome. Some "official" screws up, and IC loses an additional 50 points because of it. Was it IC's fault the GM couldn't count? I think not.
Goonswarm brought too many, they get zero points. IC brought too many, they get -50 points. Both opposing teams get 150 points. This is fair. Completely fair. Totally independent even. And by all that, what I really mean is "this is the worst display of officiating ever".

Reading the GMs reply, he makes it clear that Hedonistic attacked the camera crew after the match was forfeit. Evidence: Quote: Hedonistic Imperative began fighting early, blowing up one of the opponent ship. The match was forfeited. Hedonistic Imperative pilots then attacked one of the Gaming Commission's officials
"The match was forfeited. Hedonistic Imperative pilots then attacked" <-- that statement by GM Nova clearly states what you just said. He's got his facts correct.
Finally - you guys may have just forfeit the match (instead of the tournament), if you hadn't blown up the camera man, you guys realize that right? Don't put the blame on the GMs.

As has been stated a couple of posts above this, what Gm Nova has posted is perfectly in line with what you said. The match was forfeited, then the yacht was attacked. Before you accuse them of now getting their facts right, make sure yours are too and all the information is read clearly. ---------------

And no justifications given for differences in punishments? Not much of a commission then either.

According to the rules:
Originally by: GM Nova Rules ... Place and Tactics ... 7. If a player warps out/leaves the arena, His/her ship will be destroyed. ...
His/her ship will be destroyed... by whom?
According to the rules, leaving the arena isn't forbidden. NOT DESTROYING someone who left the arena is forbidden. Whoever was in charge of doing that should be punished. Maybe the opposing team?

Why does not this rule aply to all teams? I have talked to members of other teams that have moved but dont get a penalty? And why do you get 2 warnings if the same ship moves twice? If the person intended to cheat he would then move 1 time, but move big. Maybe take a closerange setup and just move them ones each but move them into position. Maybe you get -40 points but you will win the fight.
This is a strange rule that need to be fixed or atleast judge the same to all teams.
And why does starfraction has 151 points? Thay shall have 150.

Could you clarify something for me?
This was essentially the same misdemeanour as as GoonSwarm, right? GoonSwarm recieved 0 points for the match, and their opponents 150.
Why have IC been penalised more harshly? Shouldn't they ALSO simply receive 0 points for the match? Deducting 50 actually gives them a negative score from that match, doesn't it? ------

I would like to get a clarification of one thing. Is MC going to get any penalty for moving early like other teams have been penalized. Fine we fired early to a major miscomunication in local chat. Why is there no point deductions for moving early which is a violation of rules that many teams have been deducted for. Or did I miss the deduction from somewhere else.

As the Team Captain for MC, I cannot tell you how sad I find the fact that NR continues to debate the first match.
First, our Raven pilot crashes BEFORE THE MATCH. We are instructed by the GM in our group to get him back into group fast.
[ 2007.08.31 18:40:02 ] GM Dionysus > get him back asap. [ 2007.08.31 18:40:18 ] GM Dionysus > once fight starts no replacements
As for the second "offense", the GMs removed one of our Ravens accidentally instead of one of the Maulus, yet you believe not only should they have removed a raven accidentally, but the Maulus as well?
Leaving the returning Maulus on the field was the very least the GMs could have done after removing one of our Ravens without merit.
I assure you that had the GMs removed our Maulus instead of our Raven, that the outcome of the match would have been even more lopsided.
The mistakes were in your favor, not ours. We still won. I really cannot make it anymore clear than that.
