would it not make sense for when you are attacked or intentionally or accidentally for the person getting attacked to have a message come up asking if it was an accident or not and if concord should act?
y i am i bringing up this issue you ask?
well recently i was doing a level 4 with a friend of myn, it was all going good until i get dced which as I'm sure you know is really annoying specially when you're in the middle of a mission, but that wasn't the worse part, when i log back in i find my self confronted by several concord ships and then in a pod..... to my knowledge for no reason what so ever, my friend i was missioning with said something along the lines of, "sky wtf happened??" and i replied, "haven't got a f**ken clue" and then later after a few petitions and some digging in logs, we find that one of my drones for some unknown reason decided to auto attack my mission running partner, now as far as I'm concerned i didn't tell the drone to do this but that's besides the point, point being that it happened, it wasn't intentional and as a result i loose a 200millisk drake (in today's prices, a lot more when i first put it together) which brings me to the question, Is it necessary to have a system to prevent concord wtfpwnzoring you for something that happens out of your control or something that may have happened accidentally? as i stated before i think a logical method would be to ask a question before or after concord has blown you away to the guy who got attacked if the attack was intentional or an obvious mistake/unknown event which could provide a basis/grounding for getting your expensive mission running ship reembursed.

NO.
Very simple reason why: the extra 3-4 sconds (more in laggy area) will make suicide ganking even easier.
A possible option would be that setting the standing of a person to +10 or a option to tick beside the standing will allow him to fire at you without Concord intervention.
The simplst solution alredy in play is to be both in the same non NPC corporation.

That's an awesome idea! I know, lets do that, except let you do it to whole corps! This might need a little balancing though...howabout you need to pay some ISK to do this every week. Oh, and you can't just pull this off on the spur of the moment, howabout a 24 hour delay! Sounds awesome! -- A Solo Arbitrator vid, Distortion by Corwain |

I would rather support the idea that if both players have each other -10 or +10 they can fire without consequences.

The easiest way to prevent being Concorded is to get out of the NPC Corp and both get into a regular player corp.
Your argument will be something along the lines of ".... but then players can war dec us ......"
My response is that "Concorde is also at war !!! " I dont want a smart bomb, I want it to kill stupid people too. |

You're not the only one,, look at this thread.
I allready petitioned it,, and escalated it,, as has been done by others before me. I'd suggest you do the same, as that's all we can do to open CCP's eyes for the bug i think it is.

Maybe you shouldn't have turned it off them. Or locked something, or "Accidentally" hit the F keys.

A friendly fire forgiveness clause should be available for gangs, especially gangs within alliances where there should be a toggle for this to begin with. Concord meddles too much where they need not be.

Don't winge about the dev's response time. Reimbursement petitions usually take a week or more. Its the way it has been for years. Deal with it. ______________________________ A Request About Lag Discussion -- Yet another "Edit my sig devs!" request \o/ |

Nobody's "wing'ing" about the responsetime,,, (afaik), but it whould be nice to know if there's a bug, or if they changed Concord's behavioral patterns without telling (forgot?).
