To all you idiots who decided to post political crap and hooplah on my last post...you are indeed narrowminded and stupid. First off..these 3 troops are not in Iraq...we are in Afghanistan...
Second off: I wasn't posting to be political...alot of my frineds who are in the military have not heard from us in over 5 months...they may or may not even know what the hell is going on here in Afghanistan since it doesn't get a news coverage every day like the bull**** in Iraq is.
The men who died out here and those of us who now have their memories in our hearts understand that this war here and in Iraq is pointless...we would love to be able to sit back and watch everything from the safety of our homes like you do...but regretably..once you sign the contract you are theirs for as long as you are alive or have the contract set up for.
That post was ment to be out of respect for our commander who was an avid EvE player and also someone who died protecting the few freedoms that the people here in this country (Afghanistan) enjoy. As a matter of fact..the people here love the fact that we are building schools and keeping the Al Queada at bay, with the help of the French, Irish and Russians (who by the way have also lost some very good soldiers, some which I had the honor of working with)
Those of you who hide behind your computer and television screens have no right to say whether someone in this conflict has died in vain or not...you don't even have the right to state whether what we are doing is right or wrong...you are not here, you do not talk to the locals and you don't see what we have seen. You only watch what the media wants you to see and what your respective governments wish for you to know.. WE are here though. WE are the ones who get the bullets and rockets shot at us. WE are the ones dieing for a cause that no one else is even trying to understand and WE are the ones who go home and never have our side of the story told. The media sucks and you are all falling into its trap.
I know CCP that this will most likely either get locked or even erased..but in truth I don't care. I know why the other post had been locked...but sometimes when fools post you can't help but get angry. I don't care wether or not you support your troops...I would...everyone out there thinks that it is only the US that is in the conflict but they are wrong. It is an honor to fight alongside the other contries..and I know that we would gladly give up our lives for each other out here...all we have here is our each other and that makes us family...I hope those of you who do manage to post before this gets locked, THINK before you do...don't just blurt out the first thing that come to mind. Remember your troops...trust me..you are not forgotten
