I LOVE this game. Will leave WoW for it (Yes - I said the name). The game dynamics are spectacular and I do thank CCP for making this.
But the downs are unacceptable. And, as a relative noob to the game: Risking a 2mm fitted Isk frigate or hauler is bad enough. Later, envisioning risking a BS or better . . . Not acceptable.
If my business ran this way (yes - I run a firm, so I do know of which I speak), I'd be looking for that monthly unemployment check.
Point is: Great game in principle, but make it more reliable or you will never get much further then your current subsciber base. And you do deserve much better.
IMO.

Yes, relax and enjoy your "free" $15/month expansions complete with daily--and now nightly---downtime.

I'd say the bigger WoW servers have more downtime and queues than EVE TQ does. People need to put this in perspective, stop acting like other MMORPGs have a perfect track record on uptime.

Why do people leaving always feel the need to bother others with an announcement of that fact?
The only one you need to tell you're leaving is the person you're contracting your stuff to... =AFK=

The problem is - there is no real alternative for EvE. And the devs know that. If u are not satisfied with something - just change it. But if u aint sattisfied with eve - what choice u have? I am waiting for the moment someone release something similar to EvE - then the competition would change the current situation i am sure. CCP were really forced to do something to keep customers satisfied. But for now - we have no real choice. And thats what makes the game bad. really bad - cuz monopoly always causes a lack in efforts to satisfy the customer.
