Yeah, it's "evil" (published by Sony), but hey... it's Stargate, and it's a card game Just wish we had an EVE CCG that's also online (and I mean actually online).
Home site (+ some fansite listing all starter decks and all cards, alongside custom player-built decks)
It's pretty different from most TCG/CCGs I've seen so far, because it's, how do I put it... very complex, and at the same time, it has "negative feedback" which makes most games interesting 'till the very end usually. You play both the "good guys" and the "bad guys" in alternating turns, using the same deck, and the "resources" you can spend mostly depend on the other player's current status (so, the closer he is to victory, you get more possible conter-options).
So, anyway... anybody play it ? It has "unlimited free trial" with a random starter deck against other players (or at least, that's all it had when I started), for anything else you have to become a "full user". _

Tried it, just never got into the card system. Seemed a bit unfair, more about what cards you had then strategy. ___________

I'm a cheap bastard, almost always trying out "starter/commons only" decks There's even a tournament section specially dedicated to that type of decks, heh.
Normally, you can get "commons" basically free from the "older" players if you ask nicely... they have so many of them they could just throw them away (max 3 of a kind are useful, any common is at least 30 times more likely to be found than any of the rares, so those "hardcore" guys usually end up with over 50, maybe even 100 copies of most commons). _

I've tried "Octagon" + EVE-CCG pack, but let's just say, it wasn't "built for EVE", and you have to struggle quite a bit, especially if you're unfamiliar with the real-life game (rules "and stuff"). For a true online cardgame, the game rules have to be enforced ("built into") the client.
Hey, who says "in-station" couldn't have the online version of the EVE-CCG ? From what I gather, there's even a background story ("Mind Clash" was it ?) about a popular EVE universe game, so why not merge this and that and... well, you get the idea.
Look at what Sony did : the online version of the game is quite lightweight, "online" card packs cost just as much as real packs, but there's no printing nor shipping costs (just about covers the online game maintenance, I guess). Not only that, but they have a promotion whee you can "redeem" the online cards (full collection, one of each) for a physical copy of the whole collection at any time, so there's some real-world value attached to it too... so you're equally likely to buy either.
