When a close person flies out far from you, you're allways bad and sorry. Nothing will never regret all those good moments with him, and if, as in this case, we're talking about a great person, things are worse for those who met him. I never met him, but in your words I can find his trully soul. He'll be alive in them.
I hope he will meet you all in the next "travel". Fly safe people, and live as if today was the last in life. You never know when life's gonna pod your existence.

Your video certainly did him justice. I can't say I ever knew him, but if he was anything similar to the way everyone's been describing him, he certainly deserves it. The video was very moving, and I put some more on his bounty, which I think was an awesome idea on Veto's part.

seriosuly guys, im sure darkelf was one of eves best players (in all aspects) but this over the top outpouring of grief has turned into a competition of who can cry the most.

Don't comment then. And don't take people showing emotions for a weakness. This is mourning, and it is justified. This thread will eventually fade out as people move on but postings like yours are not needed or wanted.

I'm glad to see such a thread.
Though i had only spoke with DarkElf a few times, it was allways in good fun trying to blow eachother's ships up :)
This puts EvE back in perspective and reminds us all that life cant be taken for granted.
Its nice to see a prestegious corp such as Veto. honouring its members in such a way.
Often EvE can lack heart, however Veto. have demonstrated a true sence of comradery which anyone should be proud to be a member off.

I cannot say i knew the person but i can relate how it must be to lose such a respected, loved person in your life.
Verone, your tribute was amazing and quite "schocking" in the good/emotional sense of the word. All i can say is condolences to his Family and friends, and to you and your corporation.

A legend of that we can not put words to his actions, feelings and thoughts. He will be missed but not forgotten. Veto truly respect this man in so many ways and show the dedication and committed to get the message across to the public and to their corp itself. Veto have been stripped with this loose and the place of "DE" will never been taken. True man lost in space. We will find you.
Tribute was great,send off was perfect. Grieving the loose of a friend and fellow EVE player.

I recieved E-ON Issue 10 today to see that DarkElf has been nominated for both Forum Warrior and Player of the Year Awards in the 2008 E-ON Awards.
It means a hell of a lot to all our members to see that he had such a wide and positive influence on so many people and I think it's a real testament to his personal character that he's in the running for these awards with some of the most well known people in Eve.
From everyone who wears the Veto Corp banner, thank you to everyone who took part in the voting at Fanfest 2007, and everyone who's given support and kind words.
