CommuniquÚ FER-02 From: The Imperial Public Relations and Diplomatic Services Bureau concerning the authority of the Forsaken Emperor and his relation to the ruling powers of Curse.
To: The General Public of Eve. There has been much speculation in regards to the authority of the Forsaken Emperor and his relationship to Curse. The Emperor has asked my department to address this issue and make it clear to the general public where we stand as members of Curse.
The region of The Vale of the Silent, Tribute and Geminate also know as the Forsaken Empire is home to the people of the Forsaken Empire. The region falls under the government of Curse however, the Emperor is the regional governor.
The Emperor however, has delegated his power to the ôFive Pillars of the Empireö so in all respects ôThe Fiveö run the day to day affairs of the Empire. It will be the ôFiveö who interact with the authorities of Curse and everyone else for that matter. Private councils with the Emperor are only by invitation.
ôThe Fiveö are the original CEOÆs that made up the core corporations that made up the Forsaken Empire. They can be contacted through the Imperial Public Relations and Diplomatic Services Bureau.
Below the ôFiveö are the Admiralty, the Nobles and the High Merchants. Below these are the Imperial Navy officers that make up the Forsaken Empire fleet.
The Emperor hopes that this will clear up any confusion concerning our relationship to Curse. He hopes that the people of Eve understand that he has made a commitment to Curse and will not waver. He is aware that many still condemn his people for the ways of their past but still clings to the hope that time will close this rift.
Finally there was a question of a relationship to the Amarian Emperor. The Forsaken Emperor is in now way related to this person or any noble House of Amarr.
This is the will of the Emperor and it shall be done.

I must say as a foundation for government at least its imaginative. Whether or not the infamous Christopher Xen was the architect or not, its certainly colourful. I imagine "the emperor" is a clone construct a bit like that sanitised mouthpiece that the Phoenix Alliance punt out to mouth platitudes though, propably nothing more than a puppet to provide an illusion of authority to a reactionary land grab.
But thats no criticism really, after all, every man jack and his little dog too is out their "claiming" space, no reason whatsoever that the Foresaken Empire shouldn't do the same!
End of the day, I think FE have been extremely sensible to discover a "big friend" to watch their backs in the "communal showers" of intergalactic politics and intrigue.
After the humiliation of their rapid expulsion from Fountain they desperately needed a little credibility and this move will deliver just that. Curse Alliance is undoubtedly powerful, and regardless of whether they are villainous pirates, lunatic meglomaniacs, misunderstood revolutionaries, or merely cunning businessmen, its sure enough that they have stood the test of time, and FE can only benefit from throwing in their lot with a larger, infinitely more impressive military operation.
Thats my take on it.

We claimed these regions months ago. But as were under a new alliance, its clear we had to state our holdings
Duh you guys claimed fountain as well. Backed out of that rather quick once you realized there were people who resented that.

Fountain devolved into a stalemate, with one side claiming Fountain in the mornings (when they could get more guys on) and the other side (ours) claiming it in the afternoon/evenings, when our numbers swelled.
In short, it wasn't fun anymore. The number of battles dropped off dramatically, so...
Like Stavros said, we got a better offer, and left.

Where is a list of the Corporations part of the FE? And I'd like to know if they abandoned the piracy ways as the CA constitution says.

"Where is a list of the Corporations part of the FE?"
FE is one corporation which was formed by merging its founders into single new entity, i think... so there's no list of corporations and no parts. ^^;

Part of the agreement for FE joining the CA was that they renounced piracy. The CA does not pirate, however we are by no means nice guys. Reverend Necrona |

Monsieur Darwin, I am afraid that the consequence of bringing disputes to the forums is that it positively invites comment, that is pretty much the green flag for *anyone* to express an opinion. I would invite your clarification of my flawed understanding however, please enlighten me as to how my take on these events, ie.
1. Moo make exceptional military progress vs Fountain. 2. FE join the war. 3. FE declare fountain is their "new home" 4. Moo leave the war. 5. FE unable to press their claim. 6. FE pull out of fountain as a bad bet. 7. Fountain in control of their region again. 8. FE join CA.
... is factually inaccurate.
I am honestly intrigued.

We never lost a major battle in Fountain. But fountain had the numbers and the support from other alliances. It got to the point where they owend fountain onehalf of day and we the the other half. There was no smake talk on fourms nor in local. We pulled out because of talkes with Curse and doing somthing else for a change. Fountain was very vear boring.. So boring we had pepole leaving area. So we pulled out. Twist it anyway you like

The main reason there was no smacktalk was because both sides decided to abstain from boasting on the forums and abstaining from posting fiction to make it look like they were winning. Most of your alliancemates understood this concept pretty well, but apparently your an exception. Saying that the FE never lost major battles in Fountain is an outright lie because I was part of several battles myself which ended with 1 sided casualty counts high enough to give Droklar enough material to start 15 threads about had he been in our position. Just because we refrained from dragging it all over the boards doesnt mean it didnt happen. So as you stated earlier.. if you have no idea about what happened up there, its best that you dont comment on it.

I can confirm I could care less either way.
I can also tell you Darwin is right on. Darwin is correct about the numbers of day and night. Darwin is correct about the extreme boredom. People were leaving, that made the job even harder.
I am not in FE. Are they hostile? Don't know and don't care. Everyone in EVE is hostile.
I commend FE for getting organzied and having better communication. (from what I have seen)
