Ive never really posted in the ideas thread, ill try and explain it best i can.
Null Sec to High Sec, and trade and supply.
I live in deep null, null life involves hit and miss markets, high prices, difficulty obaining rarer moduals. They are the only major hassles I find.
Most corps rely on JF pilots, Carrier pilots etc to continuously run back and forth, taking considerable time and effort.
To me, this limits what should be a free flow, general goods from high sec, and raw materials pumping in from null or vice versa.
I propose a limited number of commercial gates, these could for EG, be near Jita and taking said gate would lead you to a static deep null location in Tenerifis or Stain etc etc.
This would allow subcap players the chance to supply themselves, or make mass supply efforts much easier.
The gates could either
1) be controlled by concord, having concord ships 'guarding' this commercial gate in null, keeping it neutral, although whoever owned the system/area would have much easier access then others. 2) be able to be taken control of, thus allowing standing restrictions of use, making that system an extremly high value system tactics wise, as supply and trade fuels wars.
its a very raw idea. |

Two problem I can immediately see:
1. It becomes easier for alliances to stock up equipment and materials and harder for said alliances' enemies to stop them from getting equipment and materials.
2. Large alliances will hate this idea because it'll allow random people easier access to "their" systems... which brings more cloakies, spies, and "market crashers."
The thing about null-sec is that it's SUPPOSED to be "hard"... it's supposed to be hard to get stuff out there... to bring stuff in... to go out there to mine/belt rat/run anomalies/etc... to generally stay "safe."
I say no to this idea. "Just because I seem like an idiot, doesn't mean I am one." ~Unknown |

This is what JFs are for. Or you could have manufacturers in your alliance. Or train up blockade runner.
There are tons of ways to get stuff you need out in 0.0 already. |

May i suggest that this only goes through to NPC space, so it will be a public station system. Add several small pockets of npc space and there you go. I like the idea of opening up null markets to industrialist and traders. It allows more potential and more of a true free economy. To those who say there are many ways to get in and out of null, the blockade runners and transport ships. I have a tengu with 1300m3 that is tackle proof and bubble proof, its the only safe option I have. cloakys and transport ships are vulnerable to bubbles in a big way. May I also add, perhaps each of these special Indy gate systems, lead to two or three other Indy gate systems, so its traversable only by indy ships and allows goods to be shipped huge distances.
Yes, I complain about things I don't like. |

And allows people to stage massive fleets in NPC space with literally zero risk, keep them resupplied, replaced, repaired and refuelled with again, zero risk. Yeah, wonderful. |
