Accepted a rather long courrier mission today that had a reward for 10,000 ISK. There was a 700,000 ISK collateral. No biggie. I write down my info as usual so I make no mistakes and when I get to the completion time it says 0d0h0m. Okay this was my first courier mission. I'm used to agent missons. So, I took the trip 3/4's of the way across the Eve-Universe from Kisogo to Schmaeel by way of Jeni. Needless to say it was alot of hearing warp drive active for the better part of 1hr+. I finally get to my destination (after being attacked) to open the courrier mission window to find nothing and all journel entries gone.
If anyone can shed some light on this I'd much appreciate it. Mine or Die. |

You might have done my weekly trick of getting to the destination only to find out I forgot to accept the mission...

I don't use courier missions, but; I'd guess that what happened is, you ran out of time, by failing to complete the mission in the zero days, zero hours and zero minutes allowed to you.
So yes, that would be a scam.

ok, well, i had a similar problem, i accepted a courier mission that said just over 23hrs delviery time, only four jumps for 250k in my pocket, 1.5mil collateral, so up i jump, accept the mission, the moment i accept the timer suddenly says 00hrs, 00mins i mean WTF!?!?!?! so have i just lost 1.5mil?? for a somewhat beginner player (only a weeks experience) thats a bit of a blow, not to mention it puts u of doing any more... is this a regular thing or what? is there anyway to find the name of the person you are couriering for?

Well, I sent in the petition and the GM stated to me that the mission was for 4 hours. That sometimes a display of 0d0h0m happens and that it is of no fault of the game. That I should have completed the mission the minute I got it. Problem was the miniute I got it the time remaining was 0d0h0m. I dont know but I wasn't very pleased with the outcome. I'll just submit a screenshot of it next time it happens and then it will be thier problem. Mine or Die. |

Edited by: J0an0fArc on 26/02/2004 00:56:11 I did forget to mention that the GM's were very fast in responce to my problem. They were very poliete and tried to make sure they knew every aspect of my problem before they made a decision. I was just unhappy with the outcome. Mine or Die. |

That's a contradiction in terms. If the mission was for four hours but you were seeing 0d0h0m remaining, that IS a fault of the game: the timer should be showing the right time.

Sounds to me like they are referring to a display bug, like the attribute display bug after changing ships that was fixed. Try relogging if it happens again, and if it still says 0d0h0m then you have a case.
