So I've been playing EvE for a while now and well, I don't know how to have fun with it any more. I don't know what has happened as I used to play eve for ages but now it's little more then logging on to change a skill then log off again.
I'm wondering what am I missing in eve that will bring the fun back, no doubt that this game has a mammoth amount of things to do and I'm sure there's something out there to get me hooked back on the game but be damned if I can find it on my own.
I've tried my hand at mission running however I can only manage level 3s and they are a little dull, mining just makes me want to kill myself and trading/industry requires too much studying of the market ect for my limited mental capacity to cope.
I've always wanted to try pvp in this game since what attracted me to it was the idea of blowing up expensive things in the depths of space with my music blaring out the speakers at unsociably loud volumes through out the night.
Unfortunately being outnumbered and dieing within 3 seconds is the reality instead, that or sitting in a SS in my Caracal trying to find a fight on the directional scanner that I at least have some faint hope of winning. I know EvE is a team game however it seems no one wants to be on my team maybe it's my lack of skill? Maybe it's my lack of personal hygiene and the fact that I keep calling everyone "Frankadoodle", who knows.
This can't be everything that EvE has to offer and I'm sure that somewhere out in space there's some pointless activity out there that I'll love, I just need help to find it.
So anyone out there got any suggestions on what I'm missing out on in the big black?
Those of you that are moar concerned about getting a couple of mil and want me to contract you my stuff instead don't bother, I already know who I'll contract my stuff to if I were to quit and it's not you. ------------

You need to join a corp, probably in an alliance (or a pirate corp if you'd prefer) and get out to .0, you should be able to find someone who'll let you as long as you can fly a tackler anyway :)
If your still a bit worried about pvp, agony unleashed or eve university both run pvp courses where they take you out and show you the ropes etc...

As much fun as I'll have making screenshots and short comics of me and various other unwilling bystanders getting into compromising positions I'd prefer it if I could use a ship and vast quantities of explosions and violence.
I think the .0 corp/alliance is probably what I need, I've looked around various stations and offices but I can never really find any pirate corps or .0 combat focused alliances that will have me, I guess I'm looking in the wrong places. Probably be best for me to check the recruitment forum right? Also by tackler do you mean any old T1 frig with a warp scrambler or specifically interceptors? ------------
