This game is a SHAME, 4 years that fleet battles are laggy and 4 years nothing is done. It has to be the priority, I DON'T CARE about T2 battleships ! FIX THE LAG !

No. Bring them by all means, just dont whinge about it when it's laggy. It seems that the threads that are started as battle reports or threads that people can find out genuine news, i.e. 3 POS's coming out, MC brought blah blah. are turning into "waaa waaaa laggggg 800in local waaaa" threads. I'd love to know whats going on in fights but am sick to death of reading the crap.
Here is the idea - let's all pretend lag doesn't exist, and it'll be fine. CCP already pretends lag doesn't exist, so... everyone will be happy.
I am also happy that you have ****loads of suggestions and ideas to share. If you don't like reading about people who actually play sov wars, go and camp a gate about it. Or read crime & punishment. That should keep you happy.
One thing is for sure. This is not a network lag on client side, so we have every right to yell at CCP.
All I want from CCP is very simple. I want them to either say "We will fix the lag real soon now", or "we can't do anything about lag, tough luck". I don't want them to "try" to fix it. If something is broken, it can be fixed. If they don't have inhouse expertise, they can find someone who will give them new ideas/concepts. I actually bet that their server bandwidth usage is at its lowest during 800-men battles.
As it is now, I am still paying sub and hoping that CCP will somehow make game playable. If they can't do it, there is no reason to keep paying and hoping. But they keep on evading lag issue for ages now. Let's see if it'll be good for the business in the long run...

Unfortunately BoB will be bringing several hundred members, and we don't want to lag out the system, so orders are not to get anywhere near there until local drops below 100, whereupon we can deploy 20 man gangs in the hopes the server can handle it. Also, don't come if you're not a rich PVP vet flying T2 fitted T2 ships.

Seriously, if the attacker brings such many ships and your pos are in reinforced then you of course try to defend! What else should they do???
And MC's strategy of 'steamrolling' aka huge-giant-capital-blobbing, well, it works and is within game parameters, so what? Also the other side is rolling in numbers when they attack as well.
That is how it is.

Actually if you check the boards you will see that Rise undocked this morning and killed a large bubble, only to lose a bunch of ships including 2 carriers (of which they tried to self destruct both but only succeeded with 1). Oh and they lost 2 posses last night and many more today.
