And now we start to move. The object of our hunt has been sighted, the weapons have been drawn and the players are closing in on one another.
It is, incidentally, possible that we'll make some Red Quafe available at the Fan Fest. We'll see. It'll be an interesting mix.

That was wicked. Awesome in it's simplicity.
It starts to be more like the Eve-stories of old, and I am a BIG old skool fan of the chronicles.
Freaking wonderful descriptions you have of the locations and the mix of tech and down to earth market stalls etc is stunning.
I love it and the intrigue has me holding out for the next part.
I can't wait.
Excellent work Abraxas, simply excellent. ----------------------------

Start drinking coffee and redbull or something and start pumping out stories on a daily basis... at least weekly! This story is so full of epic win it makes me a happy panda in the pants.
Seriously; Rock solid installment once again , a good mix of character developing (considering it's as short as it is) and involvement in it for the reader, intriguing story to follow and cohesive play up to a point where the story makes you crave for another fix. Srsly start pumping them once a week. I'll have your babies if you do!

I love this story line. Action, suspense, the whole thing. I especially like good character build up and this story has plenty. Nothing makes a good game like a good background and EVE has some of the best I have seen. I can't wait to see what will happen next. Also, Red Quafe should be sold online too. I would buy a case or two!

Very nice piece of writing, though does give a bit new veiw of the both of 0.0 frontier life, and look of one of the pirate faction station looks like and there policies, and roles.
If you start selling Quafe again, I'll by it by the drozens, and espicially red or white Quaffe.

The part where they arrived at the Angel station and walked trough the market i could actually visualize very clearly, that should say enough about the quality of this EVE Chronicle.

Not that I could ever right anything even a hundredeth as good as this, but there were a few words out of place (mostly revolving around "than's"). Took me a reread or two to figure out the missing word. Pointless criticism aside (I blame the editor) . . . AWESOME! I especially liked the image of Shiqra jumping out of his skin from being so restless (when he's first introduced in this installment). Another very solid piece of writing. My only critism, and to be fair it can't be helped when your making up names, is that I'm a big fan of Order of the Stick. This means the name "Nale" has a whole lot of other connotations. -------------------------------------- See the Eve History Wiki, where YOU won the GNW!

Congratulations on a superb piece of writing. How many have you written, and is there an easy way of finding them? A brief word to the polite criticism, what seem like imperfections often give a persons work a certain unique quality.

At first, I thought the descriptions were a bit tedious. Lots of explaining about the background noise, not enough forward action... until they got to the hangar. Woo-ie, was not expecting that one! I was thinking bomb or severed head, but not what followed afterwards.
Then I thought, "This is a world unseen by the players' eyes. These descriptions are necessary for what the world is about. A world that is a demented neighbor of our own."
But two weeks more for another? Jeezus... It's like watching the most exotic, sexiest stripper in your bedroom for ten minutes with no touching(Her or yourself) until you get your next credit card bill.

Don't hesitate to give specifics. Sometimes errors get through, and I want to fix them.

Yes. It does...

If you mean the chronicles as a whole, they're located on this page. I've written everything from "The Greatest Joke" and up, with the exception of "Eye for an Eye". If it's Black Mountain you mean, there are seventeen instalments, though some of those are background material and little side routes along the way.
And I'm not worried about criticism. I'd be very surprised if everyone liked all these stories, given the roads I take them down. Black Mountain has an ... epilogue of sorts, I suppose, where I talk about the real Book of Emptiness, and in that story I'm going to explore what it means to have faith and accept your need for it. Some people are going to like that story, and some are not. That's fine; there'll be a different one along shortly after, as there always is.
Originally by: Jericho Dark Then I thought, "This is a world unseen by the players' eyes. These descriptions are necessary for what the world is about. A world that is a demented neighbor of our own."
Precisely. And besides, if the action is to affect you, you have to have had a quiet moment first.

I just enjoy what I've read so far, and look forward to reading more. And for what it's worth, I enjoyed it enough not to notice any grammatical errors.
