Edited by: Kanarue Shinohara on 14/10/2007 03:47:57 If you go to http://www.Eve-Central.com, as of October 13, the site is offline. (Viewing the site right now is actually "Forbidden" for some reason.)
Without Eve-Central, I cannot find the prices for commodities in different regions. The in-game economy slows down without Eve-Central.
May someone please suggest any alternatives? Alternatives that are at least as good or even better than Eve-Central?

get in a shuttle, fly to the region you want prices, and export them yourself. <sig>

That sounds rather time consuming, and I'd have to go on a wild goose chase throughout 20+ empire regions to find the best prices, which are subject to change at anytime anyway. Nothing was as time-saving as Eve-Central.

In this case, how much data did you submit to Eve-Central?

It looks like it never uploads no matter how often I scan. On my EVE-Central.com MarketUploader, it says "Uploads so far: 0 Scans so far: 9." The folder it scans is C:\Users\(Username)\Documents\EVE\logs\Marketlogs.
What's wrong? Why doesn't it upload?

This was a problem before the site went down. While the site was up, why wouldn't the MarketUploader upload?

Um because your computer's name isn't "username" just a hunch. read the instructions and it tells you to change the directory to your eve marketlogs on YOUR computer.
And as a side note don't abuse this program, use it. Everytime you look something up on the market click export please. Nothing is more frustrating than traveling 32 jumps for that rare cheap item to find it was sold 4 days ago.

it's been down before, it's usualy back after a day or so. I'm allways using it, tho i mainly use it to advertise my wares, i allways export after i put up a buy or sell order to the traders can find me :) prolly why i'm 1/3 from the top on the leaderboard
When searching BTW, it's best to use the date filter, i never look at records more than 24-48 hours old.

It should be obvious; I'm hiding my computer's username because I don't have a reason to feel comfortable to reveal it.
OH, NOW I know why the MarketUploader never seemed to work! I never thought to press "Export To File!" Now that I have, it said it's "Uploading..." and still says it; I guess it'll only finish its upload once the site is back online.

Isn't it obvious by now? Once again, Verisign is manipulating a.root to get cheap Tritanium. Bastards.

They are, but they're partly back.
