Edited by: Alvin Elte on 17/10/2007 03:32:57 Edited by: Alvin Elte on 17/10/2007 03:18:57 hi.
im at work and im bored. what has this got to do with you, you may ask? well here is what i will do. for some isk. i will do a research on any topic you want to know. and post it here.
so go ahead. forget about your weighted companion cube for a minute and explore the wonder of the universe of knowledge.
due to my realisation that this is harder than i thought. the amount of isk is to be negotiated depending on how hard the work is.

Okay, I want to know everything there is to know about quantum gravity. In fact, I want a working theory on quantum gravity mechanics with overwhelming laboratory evidence to support it. Here comes your isk.

I'd like to know this:
If a person uses the "least harsh" interpretation of the Bible as possible (yet stays within reason of what the words most likely mean), what will he find the Bible teaches concerning:
A) What the conditions are to avoid hell (Do you have to be a Christian? etc) and B) What hell is and how permanent is it?
Remember, I'm looking for the absolutely least harsh interpretation, while still sticking to reason and not taking things totally out of context and making stuff up etc.

LOL you saw that special on Hell on the History Channel last night too?
Your inquiry is easy to answer.
The "nicest" interpt. will be Hell is not a physical place, just a separation from the character portrayed in the Bible as 'God'.
Least "nice" interpt? You burn/rot/are comsumed/crapped out/tortured..yadda, yadda, yadda..... for eternity.
There ya go! All for free with no ISK charges.
To the OP;
I'll give you 5000 ISK if you can tell me if it is possible for a sparrow to carry a coconut from the tropics to Europe. Must include verifiable evidence.

I didn't see that special on Hell last night, or any time. Just a coincidence I guess.
You did not really answer my question fully. You did not say who qualifies to go to Hell etc. Also, even if Hell is only a "state of mind" or "physical separation from God" that still does not answer the question of how long it lasts or what happens to you while it is ...lasting.
...and...you need to show verses to back yourself up. Don't just show the nicest verses. Show the HARSHEST verses then explain why they are not as harsh as they look.
You get me?

If that fails, they could ask me for free. I am the answer man! I know everything there is to know about anything. Go ahead, ask me something, you know you want to.

Edited by: Dotard on 17/10/2007 04:00:23 No "verses" nessasary. If you read the bible you would know what I answer are taken from it.
Anyway, who qualifies? Depends. You going OT or NT? New is you must be a xtian. Old is everybody who ever existed. Well, except Moses.
Trouble with that dang 'ol Bible is no matter the question, no matter the stance on that question, one can find verses to support their contentions. Just for fun, pick a subject, make a contention based on some verses. I'll take the opposite stand and supply some quotes to support my conclusions.
This REALLY ought to be in the "Out of Pod" thread.
Edited to add: Lame attempt at scamming ISK Al.
