I fail to see where i am to fault at this. That right there is a legit complaint. I'm not gonna fault you for that. It's a bit odd to have that happen when we did the same thing and our poses stayed online. Just so long as they don't do a rollback, Whatever they need to do to fix it is ok with me. Roll back, dont kidd yourself. There is no way there are going to do a rollback. Consider the number of people affected by this bug, versus the number of people affected by a rollback. I can think you can figure this out by yourself....
Also if you are asking for a rollback I would consider you rather egoistic, per the above argument. |

The server reboot fixed the following issue:
POSes without the new fuel blocks went offline (as they should have; this worked as announced), however they ended up in a stuck state where they could not be onlined again once they got properly refueled. The database had (correctly) marked them as offline, but anchored, while Dogma (EVE's system for governing a whole bunch of on going effect; like applying your skills to your ship stats) decided that they were online.
With the reboot we told Dogma that it was being dumb and that it should get with the program. All should work properly now.
PS: For those that still want to whack at those pinatas; you still can. We did not bring any POSes online that should have been offline as per the normal changeover. Senior GM Homonoia | Info Group | Senior Game Master |

Until the announcement, no one was sure whether only improperly maintained POSes were going offline, or if perhaps some that had been properly fueled well in advance were also going offline. It wouldn't be fair if those who had prepared in advance still lost their stuff.
However, it sounds as though only people who waited until the last minute to refuel were having problems (?), so that's all right. "The EVE forums are intended to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere for the EVE community."-áGÇö-áEVElopedia |

This is correct. Only POSes that were NOT properly fueled were affected. POSes that had fuel blocks in them were unaffected. Senior GM Homonoia | Info Group | Senior Game Master |

I guess it is then party day for POS module builders as lots and lots of under-the-shield modules are going boom today (silos, hangars, moon miners, POS shield hardners).
May I suggest that POS fuel switchover statistics to be a devblog subject at some point... |

^^^^^^ Doesn't realize that computer games have bugs. Did not follow the old mantra of "be ready for glitches on the patch day". Defending people who did not think ahead and did not fuel or removed extra POS fuel thinking that everything will be ok. |

I wonder how many empire pos owners thought "all I need is fuel blocks" and forgot they still need starbase charters. Did some people take them out?
Regardless, there was about as much warning on all this as there could have been short of sending some clown to your house to bop you over the head with a rubber chicken. So noone should be crying if they failed to put some fuel blocks in their pos proir to this morning's change over. |

Best get raging then because you have ZERO chance of a rollback.
There has only been one REAL rollback (ie restore the entire server to a previous state due to a bug) in Eve's history and that was insurance fraud when it was introduced. The only reason CCP got away with a rollback that time was it was very near the start of Eve and the population was tiny. |
