the following is the worst suggestion i could think of and would break the game faster then starwars galaxy. this post in no way, shape or form represent my alliance, my corp or even me for that mater.
this suggestion is the fact that you can put many shield and/or cap rechargers to get ridiculous amount of recharge, so the suggestion is to make them stack nerf like everything else does, this would prevent single ships from being able to single handedly massacre scores of ships in a short time, thus the idea of solo mission runners becoming a thing of the past.
/me puts on a flame suit and goes into an underground bunker for the incoming firestorm
ps. this would be a great april fools patch note

Referring to active modules like shield boosters and armor reppers?
Also, you know they'd just make NPC's do less damage

I think all forms of NPC hunting, including missions and ratting and complexes, should be nerfed six ways from Sunday. Take out bounties or reduce them by 90%, so that loot and the actual mission payout would be the only rewards for killing them. Then, have ambient rats become far less common as you obtain and increase sovreignty in a 0.0 system, so that once it's up to level 3 sov, you don't see any rats in the belts except frigates and destroyers.

Edited by: Ellaine TashMurkon on 19/10/2007 01:11:26 Mission runners are not a real part of economy. They just create isk out of nowhere, almost never loose ships, buy best equipment and then stop playing because its boring. In meantime, they spam economy with tons of second grade named loot that is recycyled.
Nerfing them to hell would only do good, bringing back the risk versus reward balance and economic incentive to go to 0.0.
Yet, people use two armor reppers, not 5 or 7. Stack nerf means second module at about 80%, so your change would only lower their tank by 10% in dual repper BS, and not even touch the main modern farming ship, Drake.
In fact, best thing would be limiting number of missions one agent can give per hour :) Simple and wonderful. And people would run empire wars for something :)
