I think this entire situation exposes a serious problem in eve.
Null-sec is too boring. The free isk from null is ruining the game, draining the life out of the null-bears, forcing them back where the fun is.
I think its CCP's duty to make sure the game is fun for as many people as possible, so here is what i suggest:
MOON GOO is too static a ressource, leading to static alliances fighting static battles - no real excitements, mostly just huge amounts of boredom and huge amounts of free isk.
So to fix this, let moon-goo production on a moon slowly dwindle away as the known deposits are harvested. When a moon is depleted or just abandoned, the ressource will despawn and spawn at another moon somewhere - this way the large alliances cant just sit there and be fat on goo - they will have to work for the free money, having people prospecting moons regularly, instead of just looking in a database where the choice real-etate is at.
When prospectors have found a valuable ressource, then begins the race to secure it, causeing much mayhem and luls, if fate puts a valuable ressource in contested territories, or in the bosom of an alliance not quite as strong as some of its neighbours.
It should make for some much more interesting dynamics in null, while keeping the ressource in null-hands, and give them something to fight and/or do diplomacy over.
Oh and spawn even more incursions in null-sec, they need something to do out there. |

Confirming that "Incursion Bears" actually do MOM sites in 80 man shiny fleets because they don't have enough SKILLZ to do it with 35 people in T1 ships.
It's nothing to do with wanting to do the site in 15 minutes rather than almost an hour, nor is it because the reward increases with the more people you have in the site. And it certainly has nothing to do with the communal spirit of wanted to get as many people on the reward as possible.
All in all GG, and be prepared for bigger, better, more organized jamming ganks in the future. To assume that the majority of incursion runners aren't actually 0.0 alts is actually a grave oversight.
I know at least 4 people who are both trolling with Darius, and complaining about it whilst running shiny VG fleets, just because it's more profitable. |

Good, It is about DAMN time the incursion community decided to fight back. They have the funds, The time, and the ability to stop this madness. Just the will needs to be there.
Hopefully this will convince leadership to make this a regular practice to allow trusted FCs to organize fleets against those with the stated purpose of denying incursion content. |

Darius III wrote: This was the toughest, most fun I have ever had VS any sort of NPC's in any game ever. I took so many guys out of 20% armor so many times I lost track.
At one point I ordered the fleet out (even though I wasnt FC) I was yelling GUYS WARP OUT WARP OUT SAVE YOURSELVES!!!! But no one was listening to me-by virtue of I was pressing the wrong 'push to talk' button. If we would have lost just one more logi we all would have died.
Combat trained Logi pilots showed just how good they can be today. When we had the MS at 50% Shields-we were down to just 5 logis!
Again Hats off to the Bears for bringing it. I hope you guys had as much fun as we did. You guys didn't do too bad at all. After we get our way with the rebalancing of incursions I will always look back at a great time and incredibly close situation. This was really a battle for the ages. I am so stoked about the fight-it was amazing.
Everyone there-I salute you. The good guys, the bad guys, hell even the Sanshas did their part to make this an incredibly fun fleet.
Well said. All of the other stuff aside, was a good time in Empire, such events of ships returning to the universe are not common enough in empire at this scale.
There is mounds and piles of difference between pilots that have trained against a development plan and those that fly for fun. Was just enough skill there for the some pilots to even get in the ships to try and get some sort of ECM on the field, much less so for them all the be effective.
Congrats to all for a fun event. |

For the same SP, you make more isk running incursion than any other PvE activity in NS, LS or wspace. People don't go PvE in HS for the fun it.
And for the fun of it, incursion sites are not very challenging. The one most people run consist of killing 3 sanshas. When we trying to jam the logi very few attempts really leads to some ships getting blown up. When running suicide fleet (in which our logis stop repping anybody else than the logis themself), it takes ages to get some ship killed.
The only challenging site is the one incursion bears actively force people not to run. And they also want CCP to nerf the sansha damage in that site. |

Today, my fellow griefer brother and sisters we struck a decisive blow to the Sansha Menace. No longer shall their looming shadows linger over our worlds. We defended our homes and loved ones from the greatest evil, devouring everything that does not concede to SANSHA KUVAKEI.
Those heroes who stood alone when no other capsuleers had the courage to stand up and fight for what they believed in shall forever be immortalized in history as greatest warriors of freedom and justice. Do not listen to the nay sayers who would try to twist you into villains for they, themselves work for the evil oppressor SANSHA KUVAKEI.
Gentlemen, you deserve a medal for completing the mission with overwhelming success. We were out numbered, out gunned, jammed, and had lovely comedians come onto our teamspeak to cheer us on and encourage us to finish our goals. Thank you BTL for helping us in our time of need by giving us the lifting of our spirits to press on. The laughs you gave us really pushed us to excellence, making us feel calm and pristine after the hardened battle against the Sansha invasion. Without your love and support, this would have not been possible.
In closing I would like to thank our loved ones who supported and cared for us during this long war, for if it had been you caring for us we would have withered away to dust in the pages of history. This proves that with the right leadership, structure, support and love for your other players - truly anything is possible.

There's something bothering me and I just can't wrap my mind around this.
One of the suicide blackbirds, when I looted and salvaged it later, had over 23000 Tech 2 rockets in it.
Yes. 23000+
I took around half that, though having no use for them.
Why? Why rockets? Why so many in a suicide ship?
I just don't get it.

They were RPing extremist muslim suicide car bombers and filled their cargohold with rockets aka explosives. You're lucky they didn't ram you. Every EVE player must read this http://www.eveonline.com/background/potw/default.asp?cid=29-01-07 or uninstall and DIAF |
