There, I said it. It's finally off my chest.
*exhale* phew.
Okay, now to business. I am a complete and utter tool when it comes to anything Excel, not to mention I was born without any sense of mathematics whatsoever. I am cursed.
Right now I have a crap ton of typical low buy orders on the market. Once I sell the product, I KNOW I'm making a profit, but I don't know how much. One could do simple subtraction to figure it out but I sell so much I can't keep track of it. How can I convert everything into a spreadsheet so I no longer have to bash my head in total and utter confusion?
What super-secret formulae is needed for such mathematics? Well Excel coding anyway.
Thank you in advance, the one with a severe math deficiency __________________________________________________

Go to your character's page and use the market transactions export feature.
This will give you a csv file that you can import to excell containing all your transactions.
You can then then use that and some l33t excell/VB skillz to create a macro that will produce a table giving you information on all the items you trade like total profit, profit/hour, etc. Frankly though, you need to know what you're doing or at least be prepared to spend time with the help files.
I'd give you my old one but it's rather specific to me. Also, it's pretty inaccurate unless you use it from the moment you start trading.

Okay, thank you for the tips. Will have to export that. I guess the best thing to do is have a very long runthrough of the help files.
Thanks again. __________________________________________________

There are some tools around to process exported data. Maybe you want to check them before you spend time with excel coding.
Maybe this? Or read this thread, many of these tools are mentioned there so you can search for them on forums.
