on deciding to buy new implants i went for a +5 on everything but social adaptation, and looked at the +4... i realized it was at about 6.5mil, far below any +4 i had seen.. thought it might have been all +4s went down since LP store introduction, but seems not to be the case. all others are at around 18mil... then i go and check the +3's and all seem to be similar in price... even the social adaptation - basic hasnt changed.... making it cost MORE (about 30% more) than the +4's.... want to know if good investment to buy up lots of those +4's and wait fot them to go back up, or if this means all implant prices are soon to collapse

the reason for the social adaptation chips lower price is the same reason why you wanted to buy a +4 instead of a +5. If all the other pilots are doing the same thing that you are doing, why should +4 Cha implants rise in price to match the other +4s? --

well, they cost the same as other +4's in LP store, so why would anyone get the social ones from lp store when they could get +3s for less and sell higher.... or get other (neural boost for example) +4s and sell those... also, this would [theoretically] drive down the stock, raising demand and thus price once there are few enough of them...

+4's require more skills than +3's, so not everyone can use them. The +4 supply is the same as the other +4's but the demand is far less, so price is lower. Makes sense. It has nothing to do with the LP store though.

Because people don't buy them from the LP store, they get them from storyline mission rewards.

market history shows price dropping from around the start of august, and stabalizing around the start of this month.. ah well, guess it wont be the investment to get me into full faction gear... back to mission running i go :)

Did you expect that asking about it here would really tell you if it was a good investment or not?
If it was you'd have given it away to those who didn't know and those who did would tell you it wasn't a good investment.
