Previously during the war of aggression by the Cyrene Initiative the APEX Conglomerate made a decision. Simply because The Cyrene Initiative has decided the war was over on their part, does not mean our decision was changed.
Originally by: Davion Vrynn Thusly, APEX has decided to pursue an "any means necessary" strategy to prevent the Cyrene Initiative from having any further ability to impact APEX business operations and interests. This strategy will be pursued until such time as CYI retracts their wardec, apologizes for their actions and pays reparations for the damages inflicted in this unjust war
As of this announcement, only one of the above 3 conditions has been met by CYI. We cannot allow this unprovoked assault go unpunished without proper amends made. This war will continue until all of the above conditions are met or until we feel we have taken sufficient repayment out of CYI's hide.
CYI has been correct in one of their assertations however. They did indeed cause us to relocate...
...from our home to theirs.
So now they choose to back out, when things are no longer rosy. Too bad. You wanted a war, CYI, now you have one.
APEX Conglomerate has declared war on The Cyrene Initiative. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
See you on the battlefield.

A man, a word. Nice move Vendrin. I hope that this war will last long enough till the remaining pilots of the former CSOD have re-organized to join the struggle again.

Albeit i applaud this energetic announcement to continue the war on your terms, there is still the lingering issue of association with Gurista Sympathizers.
Could you clear that up first?
It's hard to keep track of your allegiances these days. ------ aka BinderAJ |

You're still banging on about that?
Seriously... when the CBT are done with their investigation... I'm sure APEX will be cleared of any allegations put aganist their name.

The only way this war is going to fizzle is if CYI cowers in their stations like they did when they started the war on us. Sure, I'll give them the fact that in the first couple of days they actually fought, with 3 to 1 numbers, but on an even fight they conceed the battle like a hare might to a wolf. We know what this cowardly lion is really made of and wish to put it out of it's own pathetic misery.

Edited by: Davion Vrynn on 25/10/2007 19:53:40 CYI declared war on a non-paramilitary corporation, came to our homes, disrupted our business, and cost us money in replacing unnecessary losses. Then, they left without the slightest expression of apology or repayment.
If we leave this act unanswered, it opens the door for them (and any others who feel like it) to do so again in the future. This cannot be allowed and it is why their actions must be answered in this manner.

I am glad that APEX decided that this weeks War is paid by their wallet. Maybe I can finally see their Leaders come out from Nonni. I grow weary of the congestion in Caldari space. During the week Cyrene has seen numerous Corporations/ Alliances from Duty, 1v1, and now Stimulus. I rarely see Apex even leave Nonni, but I heard that you have been coming down lately. We will see if this will continues after another Fleet battle with Cyrene. As a seasoned veteran, I begin to notice that many of our opponents are just the same vagrants looking to find ways to meet Cyrene in the field. It's nothing new, and it's all part of the War. Hopefully, APEX will meet us in a Fleet Battle again.

Try not to whine too much once I destroy your forces again. I've been running up to Nonni for over a week and not finding any APEX willing to battle. So far I've seens every other Corp but Apex. Except that one time, I destroyed your set fleet at a gate and then you whined about being outmanuevered. Ebb and flow, I m sure we will eventually meet. It's nothing new, yours will be coming er long.

Funny, I heard Cyrene hired mercenaries on Stimulus. Their name is Atrocitas. Known pirates. I know because a certain Intaki acquaintance of mine was one of the founders of the alliance, before he moved on to Ethereal Dawn.
The beginning of a wry smile forms on her lips.
I find this highly amusing.

Dear Kyoko, we hired Dark Star LtD to help us deal with Momentum, and later on, Stimulus. While we have no ill intentions toward the former, the tactics utilised by the latest forced us to reinforce our positions. They were happy to join the shooting, we only had to pay the war dec.
Pirates they might be, they still are not outlaws. This is of the most capital importance. ---

Because pirates are much better then Concord declared outlaws? There only difference is that the "pirates" are able to bribe concord or concord has the soft spot for them while the "Outlaw Pirates" or just "Outlaws" choose not to do it.

Or the alternate of vigilant action against pirate corps to raise standing with Concord.
We cannot condone the piracy done by them, nor do we take part in those actions, but the fact remains that we cannot eradicate piracy by sheer strength. It requires extensive knowledge of the underworld world, to understand how they think and act. They are our contact to that world, if you will, wich makes us more effective at it. Else they remains pirates with sightly higher standings than usual. ---

Now history isn't my major (Remind me to buy that skillbook), I don't remember the articles of the Yulai Convention, but I believe APEX forgot to pay the bills...

Probably because APEX is no longer based in Nonni.
It's awfully hard to fight your opponents effectively if you can't even be bothered to keep up with where they are!
