i'm not confident with missions
but i'd like to start doing 'em
so i'm wondering what gallente ship is the best to do lvl3 and/or 4 solo in the best (fastest?) way.

Probably one of the BC's. My guess is the Myr.

the Myr is very good for most lvl3 missions, a domi is the fastest. I use a domi to solo lvl4's, and I think is the best for them as well.

The Myrmidon is superb for Level 3s, as is the Domi. The Domi and the Megathron are also great in Level 4 missions, assuming you have the appropriate skills.

If your specced for drones, Domi, if your specced for hybrids Megathron.

I used a Domi since about my third months of play. Initially fitted with LSE's (yes, I know), latterly fit with 2 LAR II's and up to a 5 slot tank.
Over the last few months I have been flying and Eos and an Ishtar. Same (or better) resists as the 5 hard Domi in a more compact hull.
But to me, on a cost to benefit basis, the Domi wins hands down.
