FENCE?
what... is that some sort of technical term or is it a picture of a plan view of a fence?
No, see, you're thinking of it wrong. It's not a structrual engineering fence. It's an economic engineering fence. The diagram is lines with arrows on either end pointing at each other. It represents the flow of illicit goods. The symbol may be modified to indicate the type of fence. A "C" added to it means a diamond fence. "Au" is a jewelry fence. "e-" used to mean a general electronics fence, but you need to be sure nowadays. Guys who fence car stereos don't usually deal in hot bladeservers. ----- TANSTAAFL

I have not done chemistry on 10+ years... Simply don't remember compunds & reactions...
Well, it is just Water + Carbon Dioxide -> One of many sugars (Glucose, Fructose, Etc, all have the same formula), and then Oxygen.
C8H18 is not a sugar, again no clue what the english term is, carbonhydrates? hmm probably not. methane ethane propane and such
Alkane.
They are Hyrdocarbons, of which Alkanes are a type of Hydrocarbon.
C8H18 is fairly simple to work out which -ane it is. The 8 carbons gives it away, 8 = oct. 7 carbons Heptane 6 carbons Hexane 5 carbons Pentane
Also Mudkest, he was talking about the Photosynthesis equation not the octane, so yea C6H12O6 is a sugar.

It's simply the symbol you see on property survey drawings to denote a fence structure.
For example, my property has an old barbed wired fence on part of it. That symbol shows up along one edge of the property on the survey drawing...

Hey chief, I tell you this not because I'm trying to be superior, but because if you care enough to figure it out in english, I care enough let you know you didn't get it quite right.
When you say "tapered roller bearing" what you're saying to the english speaker is this. Yes, this item could be viewed as an extreme example of a tapered roller bearing, but bevel gear is the more recognized term for this object in (US) english speaking countries.

Well, you know, the bevel gear does sort of look like a really really tapered bearing. Only with, like, gears on it. ----- TANSTAAFL
