Edited by: Galen Silas on 04/11/2007 07:43:02 I had tried a setup on Armageddon day for the short amount of time I was able to log on.
4x HAM II's, 3x armor warfare Links(fleet/gang), or 5x HAM II's, 2x Medium Diminishing Nos(solo/small gangs ---- 1x 10mn AB II, 1x Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor, 1x Warp Disruptor II, 1x Medium Electrochemical Cap Booster(800's) ---- 2x MAR II's, 2x EANM II's for the combat setup, 1x EANM II, 1x 800mm Reinforced rolled Tungsten plate for fleet, 1x Armor thermal hardener II, 1x Damage Control II ---- Drones: 5x Hobgoblin II's or if you want some logistical purposes fit TD-300's to help aid the smaller ships in your gang or maybe yourself. ---- Rigs: 1x Nano-pump, 1x Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I
I pretty much have the skills to use all this effectively on Tranq, but when Armageddon day hit I saw a chance to test its full ability and it is dam awesome. You could try heavy launchers but I prefer the ROF of the HAM's especially with the damage rig, and with a damnation you will be close range anyways. With your cpu and pg skills to give you more and take away from Launcher and turret use you will have enough power to fit these setups just the way they are. Yes, i love stating my opinion... because people don't like it! |

I noticed you mentioned solo, how well does it handle? I do not expect to take down battleships but the odd T2 cruiser (dare I even say BC?) would be nice.
I do not have T2 medium lasers and T2 Ham's yet so I need to know if it worth spending time training it.

The new damnation has sick resists. With CS 5 it gives you an additional 50% armor hp. This ship might have the toughest tank on a non-capital ship. But it has no damage bonuses of any kind. So don't expect to kill anything quickly.

Gang Fit
Lows: 2 x MARII, 2 x EANMII, Thermic Membrane/Active, DCUII Mids: 10mn MWDII, Med. Cap Injector II, Fleeting Web, T2 Point Highs: 3 x Armour Gangmod, 2 x Med NOS, Med. Remote Rep, Cynogen Rigs: 2 x Aux Nano Pump Drones: Light EWAR/Light Rep Drones
I personally would never fit this ship out for damage, the Absolution is for that

If you want to do missions, I think you are better off with a Absolution, or a Sacrilege. They both do more damage and both can tank any lvl 4.

all my setups hav a 1600mm plate, with CS 5 this is good for almost 20k armor \o/
Due to the range bonus for missile and no dmg mods, im fitting 5 heavy launchers rather than heavy assaults, it doesnt make sense to milk a tiny bit more dps without a dmg bonus so i prefer the hit-as-far-as-you-can-lock thing
while its an awesome bait ship, its hard to get people to engage because its so obviously a bait ship
