Actually, I rather thought it was you that was being silly. In my view, I was just returning the favor. Can you point out where I said we were neutral? Wait a minute now...I'm not talking about where you asssume that I meant neutral. I'm talking about where I said it. We most certainly are not neutral...simply uninvolved to any great extent.
Opportunists? Yes...not unlike all the times BE camped M-O or NJ4 and ganked unwary travellers...or the times TI have recently come into Tribute looking for ganks.

The north does not lack ppl or alliances to fight it lacks ppl with the balls to start a fight because of all the naps. The larger alliances wont fight it out because eventualy one will lose (the e-peen shrinkage is to much to even contemplate that ).
The big alliances now in the north get involved in smaller alliance vs alliance fights like its some comfy blanket and ignore each other because they know one of em will lose (rather cowardly considering most claim to be pvp alliances).

Must be a bit annoying to have crappy Hydra (yes, we are hardly MC) start fighting back fairly efficiently your "I cloak with pride" tactic in just few days. After all if we can do it what will happen when you try that tactic against a good PvP alliance?
Se please less smack (in local especially as that is the worst thing I've ever seen) and perhaps a bit less cloaky and than you might get smaller gangs against you (we usually don't blob out tri gangs (who are damn hard to fight but are also smack free and we learn from them on every visit)).
All in all can't say it wasn't frustrating in the beginning but we are learning so thank you for that if not for the smack :)

Having a cloak fitted slows down lock time (giving your guys the advantage) but also means we do not have to bounce between safe spots constantly while we choose targets in hostile systems (saves sore fingers) so unless your saying that we can fire while cloaked then it makes no differance to the combat in p3.
And calling in help from pure/mm so you have 150 ships in a big blob on the obe gate and then spaming cans at warp to points around it(exploit!exploit!) is hardly what can be considered improving at pvp.

Oh and btw we liked it that you brought more targets although when local hit 196 we had to take a break as with so many on the obe gate the lag as we came out of warp would have lost us ships (not your improved skills whatever they are???? lol)
From my end it look very much like "let's cloak until we can attack without much danger" not to mention go AFK while cloaked. But it must be due to hydra sucking so badly that we are even unable to grasp how great you guys are at PvP.
Perhaps a post that explains the skill needed to cloak so that even stupid people like me can get it would be in order. After all you want your targets to appreciate the amount of skill it takes to kill it :)

With over 100 (150?) in local, most of em on one gate at a time, and outnumbered about 5 to 1 (no joke), we still killed your ships, and the only kill you got was a guy that disconnected.
You can smack the tactics all you want, but they are still beating you, blob and all. Hydra is the fail at PvP, always has been, probably always will be, thats why you have to call in friends anytime it gets tough.

Ok firstly you cannot attack while cloaked as i said you have to uncloak and for just having a cloak fitted you get a massive reduction in lock time as i have already said.
And yes we do somtimes go afk while cloaked im sori we do not sit in space so you can probe us out and kill us but im sure if you send our FC's a politely worded request about sitting still uncloaked in a safespot so you can probe us and kill us they will reply accordingly .
Im sure that your guys all sit in safe spots in hostile systems uncloaked getting probed out and popped and call it bravery?.
Secondly attacking 3-20 times your number is never "attacking without danger".
And im sure that when your guys attack 100 ships with 6-15 you jump right to 0km on top of em and go down guns blazing and call it skillful pvp tactics

If Hydra sucks so much and we just aren't worth your time, why aren't you tuning your PVP with a more skillful group more on par with your ever-so-supreme tactics of doom?

We can hardly know how good ppl are at pvp until we start killing em now can we?.
Plus fighting outnumbered from 3 to 10-1 is challenging (so fun) even against incompetant nubs.
Get together with a good fc and try it cos i can tell ya blobbing smaller alliances and napping everybody around you is nothing compared to the buzz you get from jumping into range of a fleet that has you massively outnumbered kicking their butt and getting away with no or small losses.
That is pvp and what you do is blobbing to hold space and you cannot even do it alone.

Do we really need to re-hash the same old tired topics every time BE/Incog move to another locale?
They fit cloaks They fit damps They use the same tactics most of the time They use cloaked alt-corp dictors They kill lots of ships They take few losses They're not going to fight on your terms
You can either think outside the box and find a new way to engage them and hopefully get some kills against them, or you can keep using the same old tired blob tactics and keep watching as they pick you off one by one.
Oh yeah and obligatory STABS and PHOTOSHOP lulz

Edited by: DHB WildCat on 15/11/2007 18:49:40 Im seeing some brave HYDRA posting now that you arent worried about losing your space 8). Some things to clear up.
Yes we have taken heavier loses than usual and heavier than we are willing to accept. This is do to be unfamiliar with some tactics. Some people align and warp late. When you are outnumbered 8 to 160, and have 20 fast movers coming in that, last battleship that wasnt paying attention dies when the rest warp out, and he isnt turned around yet. Another thing, is when we are attacking you at your death star with 10 battleships. Ships again that are not aligned correctly and hit warp, then say "omg Im not warping" as they start to turn to thier safe. Things like this is to be expected when working with new people. So it will get better with time.
Some things I have to ask some HYDRA guys however. When you kill one of our battleships..... 160 vs 8. Then begin to say how we suck and you are uber in local, why then when we (well I) begin to smack you in local after we kill one of your battleships are we all of a sudden the lame smackers? 8) Remember be respectful to us, and we will be to you. If you hate our smack, control Count (whatshis face, Montecarlo?) and Crax mcgee, which by the way dont ever try tackling a raven in a stabber 8). Otherwise I am pretty good at the smack thing and it will continue for a very long time... right Koth Fluff 8).
Anyways A small assassin group has been dispatched to our "target" area, myself included. Im sure the announcement will come shortly. Sorry Tri, but Im afraid it will remain a little boring for you 8). 0/

Oh and before I forget. About your omg the cloak whine. When in a hostile system outnumber easily 20 to 1, and with cov-ops that can probe you down in a mater of 20 seconds, and system scanners, wth do you expect someone to do, we are not going to sit still let your 160 man blob warp on top of us. So stop the whinning its getting old.

Its a sad day to see FLA go. FLA was probably my favorite alliance to be in while they lived in Deklin. Not going to bash anybody because all those subjects been hashed and rehashed several times.
Thanks to Daedel for inviting me into his small Corp. To Bobby Atlas and Di-Tron for the POS support when MC invaded. The KVEC and people like Razor for flying under my gangs, I know you all loved Duckeys bonuses and freaking out when Informality showed up blinky red, to Pluvious for keeping the tightest set of Alliance account books ever. To all the guys who left after the Cloud Ring incident Weeble, Swanny, Goca. To coldkill for stepping up into a spot many of us didn't want. To all the new FCs who stepped up during the MC war to help out even if it was gangs of Ibis trying to take out Orange Species titan. To Planet 1 for being my office and suckering neuts into warping to it.
However I think the biggest thanks goes out to Slinktress as she will always have a spot in my heart. She was the soul of FLA and will always remain so.
