I am experiencing an issue when setting multiple runs of an item on multiple blueprints calculation is scaling even though the blueprints are 1 runs.
As an example a 1 run ME10 TE 20 Ares blueprint.
When setting the runs to 10 and the BP's to 10 the fusion reactor unit is 45 in total, however 1 run is 5 therefore total should be 50.
Am I setting it wrong or is it a problem?
It is not limited to the Ares I have had this on quite a few items.

That's correct behaviour post Crius.
If you go back and read the dev blogs on the industry changes, reductions from ME are now calculated per batch where formerlly they were calculated per run. Hence more runs can result in more material reduction (though it'll never go below 1 item needed per run) |

I think I may not have explained it correctly, I understand that if I have a 10 run blueprint then the materials scale.
What I am saying is the IPH is calculating scaling for a 10 run blueprint even though I am adding 10 runs and 10 bp's and 10 lines.
This should scale, or how should my settings be if this is user error.
Thanks in advance |

Ah, ok. Gotcha.
Maybe drop Zifiram a mail in-game as that's how he's asked for bug reports. There's a related problem with T2 BPCs, I enter 10 runs and the BP counter changes to 10 and can't be changed, but T2 module BPCs are 10 run before decryptors, so 10 runs = 1 BPC, not 10.
I'm kinda glad it's scaling 10 BPCs as if they were 1, as otherwise the maths on my T2s would be off. :-) |

I will do thanks,
That's my problem the maths is off, it is scaling 10 bpc's as 1 10 run, so keep being short on the production.

Quick update: Thanks everyone for their input and bug reports. I didn't really plan this update out too well (actually I had not intended on providing a test version when I did - people just found it lol) so there are still a lot of things that I had hoped to finish. But oh well...too late now!
Where I am now is that I'm working through all the posts here and evemails I get. I consolidate that and put it in this file: http://pastebin.com/edit.php?i=cHDi63yC to track issues and to allow people to see what bugs I've said I've fixed and those outstanding. Basically I have a few major issues that will take me some time to get through - mostly the facility functions and finishing the data in the manufacturing tab. A lot of the others have been relatively easy to fix but I just haven't had much time (work is busy this time of year).
As we go on, it would help tons if you did the following for reporting issues:
1 - Check the bug list and see if the issue is there or reported as fixed (and still causing problems) 2 - Send EVE Mail with the issue 3 - always be specific as possible. Screenshots are really useful (great example here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/llu797vcpc1sgry/Screenshot%202014-10-24%2023.24.06.jpg - I was able to reproduce the error by selecting all the options shown) 4 - If the error causes a crash and you see the error screen, please copy that text and EVE mail it to me.
Whats next - I hope to get most of the major issues fixed soon and when I'm ok with where the program is, I'll switch it over to the main update files. Since this program is mostly in perpetual "beta" as it were, I just want to get it to the point that an error won't require everyone to re-install.
For Pheobe I plan to do the best I can to remove all the meta items and adjust T3 to "invention" as outlined in the blog on these changes. I'm not sure what is going on with them but I've seen the devs say they are going to scrap the multi-outcomes from invention, which makes me very happy wrt IPH development. A Devblog is forthcoming apparently.
After that I'll continue to fix issues with this version before working on any new things. I have a bunch of ideas but I need to revisit that list to see what I can realistically do. This update sucked a lot of time just to get back to what I had. I'd like to get the ability to increase the size of the application and different font sizes at some point. Also, a PI tab has eluded me for a few years now and I'd love to get that done. I'll update as I can.
Thanks for using the program and all the isk donations. As a final note, if you want to support development by donating real money, I now accept paypal at [email protected] o7

Only thing I can say about the new version isn't really a bug, so I'll post it here. The Manufacturing list tab is actually showing too much information, or at the very least has the more important information sorted away from view. Yes I know I can sort it myself so this is really more of an ascetics complaint then anything, just an observation. |

I'm setting them to all view as default now for testing but then I'll restrict it to a few key fields as the default after I'm ok with any bug fixes. It's a lot easier for me to fix by showing them all now. But yes I agree.

Why not add them as tickets in source forge, or issues in github or whatever? Having a monolithic list of problems in a text file is so 20th century. |

Honestly, that ticket thing is a pain the ass for just me. I've used the interface and this is just easier. It really is about saving time. If there were more devs, that would be a better system for sure. But for now this works fine. Maybe GitHub is better (people are telling me sourceforge is old school too lol) but I'd have to migrate everything and that also takes time.

Don't use your existing version (2.x). Not compatible with Crius.
There's a Crius-compatible version in testing. If you want to help with the testing, see Zifrian's earlier posts and get the test version from the Sourceforge site. |

I'm having difficulty to adjust the window size IPH and it is affecting the manufacturing list window especially the section that you adjust the facility type and its region and system. I can't see the bottom row of the buttons.I'm going to install IPH again when I reach home since I have bigger monitors.
The "Base" tab also keep resetting back to Location Branch and system 1IX-C0 as result manufacturing list only giving result for this particular system.
Also what do you mean by "Base" tab ? you mean General ?

The Base tab is a General station or POS you use for everything not listed in the other facilities, which are specialized for that type because of the limitations on where things can or cannot be built. For example, boosters can only be made in outposts and drug labs in 0.4 sec systems and below. The drop downs will take all this into account so you won't be able to select a high sec station to build boosters for instance.
When you say it keeps resetting, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you unable to select a different system or is it not loading it correctly when you save a different system as your default?

This is how it looks like in separate PCs I have, from what I can see an upper border of 4 buttons but I can't recognize the functionality of them till now.

I was able to change the facility type/ region/ system successfully to these tabs ( copy, invention/RE, components, T3 cruisers and sybsystems) and save it as default ( apparently the far right button that isn't showing is to save system as default). The only problem coming from base tab it keeps resetting back as soon as I hit calculate button.

Been playing with version 3.0 -- so far awesome job!!!! love it as much as i loved the old one
one question though: can tengus be produced in advanced medium ship assembly arrays??
All my reading has told me the answer is no, but it's one of the options given.
Just wanted to double check. Thanks! |

First off, thanks for putting the effort into making such a nice application!
I've run into problems with the 3.x version however. Whenever I try to add my character the program crashes with the following error message:
Source: System.Data.SQLite Message: SQLite error near "Averc": syntax error
It might just be a problem with my name containing characters that probably needs to be escaped in SQLite. |

Also: when changing the ME bonus for a station, to signify it's been upgraded, the mineral values for the BPO do not change. Changing the array for the POS doesnt effect anything either. Changed it from the adv med ship assembly array for tengu production back to the subsystem array (2% ME difference) and material cost didnt change (time did)
Just wanted to double check. Thanks! I was suprised as well but haven't actually tried it. The database says so right now but that has been wrong before.
On the me issues, I'll take a look again. The me bonus might not be enough to change the values though.

I'm testing the beta 3.0 and, apart occasional crashes not very frequent, i also see the base tab resetting to Branch / 1IX-C0 when i hit calculate.
For Base tab i mean the one in the center of the manifacturing window, where you set the facility type and position where you do the production. I set it to my POS position and i also set Equipment for modules, Ammunition for Fuel and Large for large ships; last i hit the small save button nearby.
When i hit Calculate facility is set to Outpost and location to Branch 1IX
Question: what you mean for 'Include cost' ? the 40 fuel blocks/hours the POS uses to work ?
Keep up the good work
