How do I select Hulk? Yeah, it's acting screwy. I need to fix it. Try changing the exhumer level and make sure all necessary skills are there. You might just need to change the combo values to get it to show. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

Hey zifran, really nice program you made :)
I have a problem though... as I cannot install it. It keeps saying that the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. Tried to repair it / restart it (the service) and nothing changed.... Is there something wrong with the executable (as I can install any other programs on my pc atm with no problems) or is it something else ? |

If you do not update all prereqs the program is defaulting back to the API skills. (Tried setting invention skills that my alt has that my main doesn't and it reverted back on me). |

The SVR data isn't being updated because the EVE Marketeer site is down. Hopefully it'll be back up soon.
I'm making some changes now so that you won't lose data the next time this happens. I'll just keep whatever you have saved for the average time period (i.e. if you have 30 days, then the data will stay in there for 30 days then go to 0 then).
Hope to get the fix up today but it's not going to help if you already have it set to zero. I'll keep checking on the EVE Marketeer though. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

hints? I'm assuming you are trying to scan them in from assets? If they are in a corp, you need to add a corp key if you have access. When they load up in the Blueprint Management screen, you need to mark them as owned to save ME/PE values.

I'd have to read your industry jobs but that data isn't older than 90 days I think and then there are corp and user considerations. Basically it's far too much work to try and even get close to working well.
On the Corp Assets, it should just be the Asset List.
On the skill error, not sure why you are getting that on Corp key. If it shows up on your character key, that can be a problem. Check your skills in the Character Skills window from the menu. Let me know if it's an issue.

New Build is now available for download. I tried to fix many of the bugs you all brought up lately and the list of my own. I'm sure there will be some quirks and such but just post here and I'll get them corrected. Also any feedback on the changes would be appreciated. Thanks!
Build 2.0.4488.11670
General
- Updated the program database to Crucible_1.6_65449 datadump. All newly named items should now be reflected in the program.
- Updated the BP images to Crucible_1.6_65449 datadump.
- Corrected minor bugs in BPC copy times, invention times and RE time calculations when applied to T2 and T3 items.
- Added error checking for Clipboard errors so they don't crash the program. If you receive a "Requested Clipboard operation did not succeed." error, close other programs that you may have open to possibly remove locks to the windows clipboard.
- Made improvements to the updater to be more helpful in finding errors with updates.
- Exporting data to clipboard (ie. from the shopping list or blueprint tab) should format correctly when pasted in game.
- Removed Average Price System and Region selection from the Program Settings. This is now set in the Manufacturing Tab.
Shopping List
- Copying items from shopping list will now show the total volume and cost of mats in the buy list when pasted in game.
- The shopping list will no longer add raw materials to the build and buy list and only list them in the buy list. The data in the buy list has always been correct regardless.
Datacores Tab
- The Datacore Tab will no longer crash the program when only one agent is available for options selected.
- The Datacore Tab will now indicate when no Agents are available for options selected.
- The Datacore Tab now saves checked skills, corps, and values in Save Settings. Users can still reset to default values from the menu option.
Blueprints Tab
- Blueprint Tab lines will now correctly calculate times for different line and BP variations.
- Removed autoselection of lines and bps in several instances to make it easier to use.
- T3 Items will now correctly update the number of bps and lines required when runs are updated.
Mining Tab
- Improved mining tab skill and ship selection combos to be more helpful.
- Mercoxit mining calculations were slightly lower than they should have been when using a skiff and slightly higher when using a Hulk. This has been fixed.
- Deep Core Mining Lasers that are saved with settings will now load correctly as set.
- The Mining Foreman Bonus will now be applied correctly when a Mining Forman MindLink is not selected and Fleet Booster is selected. (ie. you fleet with a hauler and have Mining foreman 3 - you get 6% yeild bonus)
Manufacturing Tab
- Added SVR Threshold value box for entering in your own SVR threshold. Previously this was 1.0.
- Added check box to ignore SVR Data that does not get a value from the server. This will now show as blank in the Manufacturing Tab List instead of 0.00.
- Users can now select the region for SVR data averages on the Manufacturing Tab. The SVR region will automatically update to the region selected when updating prices on the Update Prices Tab except if more than one region is selected in Update Prices. The regions selected on the both tabs will only be saved in settings when you explicitly save settings on each tab.
- SVR Data not returned from the server will no longer set existing values to 0.00 if they exist. This will not apply to users that had their data to 0.00 prior to this change.
- Fixed Error where items with an SVR value of 0 were ignored by the calculations.
- No records will show if options selected on the Manfuacturing tab select no blueprints.
- Changing text in the Item Filter for the Manufacturing Tab will now change the Refresh Button to Calculate to take into account new changes if you calculated items recently.

Got this in the manufacturing tab just doing my ordinary search
Edit: Fixed it by changing the avg days to "30" instead of "30 Days" but it might come up for others updating a old version. |

Questions from a new user.
There are some things I'd love for someone to clear up for me.
1. Manufacturing List options - Can you explain the T1 BPC runs box? When to use and how. 2. Manufacturing List window - What is being indicated by the yellow highlight on some items. 3. Manufacturing List window - I have SVR * IPH selected as the sort, with compare all. I have multiple results in window, isk per hour varies. What is difference between Components, and Build/Buy? 4. Blueprint Window - entering a number of BP's doesn't appear to change anything. Do I just multiply my BP's by runs, and put total runs in? 5. Blueprint Window - item costs Component vs. Raw Material. Just looking for clarification. This is saying cost/profit if built from purchased components, or building all? 6. Blueprint Window - Invention box - Is this calculated into the BP/RAW IPH calculations, and info on Manufacturing list?
I think that's it for now. LOL
Thank you in advance. |

- The T1 BPC runs is for general settings for use with Invention. For instance, most people invent modules with max run BPC's if they are using a decryptor or not. With ships, typically people use no decryptor for 1 run bpcs and use one with max run bpcs.
- Yellow highlight is BP's you've marked as owned.
- Components, Raw, and Build/Buy all match to the blueprint tab. Components is if you buy all the parts to for your item off the market. Raw is the raw materials you need to build all the components plus all the other mats. Build/Buy is a comparison of whether to build or buy the components. Sometimes you can save isk and time by buying the components from the market instead of making them. Components really come into play with T2 items.
- I use the minimum number between lines and BP's. So if you enter 10 bps and 1 line, you really only have 1 line to run so the number of bp's really doesn't matter. It's another thing that's useful for invention. Say you have 10 hobgoblin bpc's with 10 runs each and you calc out 100 of them. This will show the time to build all 100. If you switched it to 5 lines, then you would double your production time.
- Yeah, see # 3 above. Same concept. Look at a few T2 items or Capital ships to see the difference more clearly.
- Yes, the costs for invention are calculated for the number of runs you have. It basically figures out the cost per run of inventing your item and adds it to the cost per run.
Hope that helps. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

Great, thanks for the help. I have just one more question for now.
If I want a shopping list for all the BPC's of one type, should I just enter the total number of runs (leaving number of BP's at 1)? Will this give me proper profit/IPH? |

If you have 10 BPC's with 10 runs each on 10 lines, and you are trying to figure out how much your IPH is, then you want to enter 10 BPC's and 100 runs (10x10). That'll give you the correct time and calculations. If you enter in 100 you'll get data for 100 runs on 1 line with 1 bp. So the IPH will be significantly less.
