Without any flaming, whining or whatever, here's a simple question; Do you have something planned (as in being on TQ) for Amarr for the next coming 5-6 months?
If so, I'll keep on putting time into the SP sinkhole called Amarr. If not I will draw my conclusions and start training for something else.
Thanks

The amarr will never be buffed, everything else will be nerfed to that level for balance. |

Meanwhile, back at CCP HQ:
"Guys, we better start buffing Amarr!" "Why?" "Well, else Cygnus Zhada might actually go and train for other races!" "OMGOMGOMG QUICK! TO THE BUFFCycle!" -- the above is my personal opinion and does not necessarily reflect that of the little voices in my head

Actually, all these nerfs that CCP are implementing is actually the "Amarr boost" in disguise. CCP have sworn never to boost Amarr, not matter the cost, so now they are nerfing everything else instead. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was CCP Zulupark a few weeks ago. I think that should answer your question. They don't give a crap about amarr man, train something else.

(My other Character is Amarr - got cap?) Was flying a caracal the other day, my combat skills are pitiful as I'm specializing in mining/production. I was amazed at how the capacitor stayed full or nearly full. I then took off all the cap rechargers, etc., (as I had been used to Amarr setups), and the cap still stayed full. With my Amarr character and ships, watching the capacitor during fights is a constant concern. Not to mention the setup and skill training all skewed toward strengthening cap. I then thought how nice it must be to get into a scrap and the only thing you have to worry about is occasional reloading. I still enjoy the intensity of watching my cap go down, my Armor reppers and Damage Control flashing, my lasers blasting, and hoping I can last long enough to not have to warp out. Don't know if I'm ready to chuck all the Amarr based SP training yet, but I do feel your pain. Do the DEVs feel our pain, good guess. As I expect I'll be playing EVE until my eyeballs burn out, going to plan "B" might save both you and I a lot of adrenalin and anxiety. I honestly think that the DEVs have made a decision that Amarrians have outs, and fixes are too much of a hassle. Enhancing the game via Trinity gets all players wound up, and their focus is obviously there.

Edited by: Kweel Nakashyn on 19/11/2007 18:10:58 Try minnie, whatever you were skilling, it'll be usefull for our ship (but lasers). I like to tank armor my minnie ships, but I recon I tend to fit more and more my ships traditionnaly - ie damage mod + speed mods (or speed tank them). Also, you will see there what are the advantages of a free to shoot capacitor, with reloading time. Or you could train Gallente, these are great ships for pvp, I don't think these'll be lost time.
Oh and btw, they'll never answer to your question, Cygnus. Say it's no : dramabomb, say it's yes : zomgbomb.
Some tried before you :) 2isk
