You will need to experiment with the Z-buffer settings. On my card (geforce ti 4600) I adjusted the z-buffer until the screen stopped showing flickering graphics on stations and jump gates. Much improvement found.
I think it only works in fullscreen mode though, but i may be wrong. |

I use: -- 24-bit color with a 8-bit stencil -- 32-bit z-buffer with a 8-bit stencil -- enable multi-sample quality -- multi-sample quality level 1 -- interval default
Some notes: -- these settings totally failed on my old ge4200 ti -- interval default was necessary to get sun occlusion all the time. interval one gave sun occlusion 2 seconds of every 3 seconds...oddly enough, that was the default setting when I turned on msq -- I run two eves, on two monitors, at these settings -- I couldn't tell the difference between msq level 1 and 2 -- the difference with these settings on the station and ship rendering is significant ; I could see this on the 4200ti for a few sec, just befor the whole comp rebooted ;)
This is on an ATI 9800XT. Slightly overclocked in mb that is also slightly overclocked.
