Hi,
ofc first off great tool, i mainly like the save-able filter options and great pricing integration with eve-central.
I would like to have columns that shows the system, region of the price min sell/max buy. So basically i don't have to lookup each item via Eve-Central manually. This helps to simply group items to possible sell regions.
I also would like the option to manually reset/refresh the asset list. I move items frequently around between chars/corps to group for sell operations and the very long refresh time for asset's makes this very uncomfortable.

I use the "main market hubs" or "empire" option for eve central, so i can get a good idea what sell/buy prices are atm. Now imagine i have to group a batch of ALL available T3 subsystems. This is 4 races multiplied by 5 types and 5 different system and each system sells differently in each main market hub. This means i have to do a lot of lookup -> than check the eve-central buy/sell orders, close the tab, click back to eve assets and so on. It would be really great if i some how could simply group all related assets to there "best" selling tradehub.
Maybe send a message to the IPH tool guy, since in IPH it just takes like 5 seconds to get all main tradehub's pricing information for all T1/2/3 items in the game? I guess there are dump pricing files available per hub, so IPH just downloads 5 files in those 5 seconds.

Golden Gnu wrote:@Andy DelGardoWhat you ask is not possible, As I said before.... I tried IPH (as you suggested) and got all possible items. And I guess it's not such a long wait after all! However, I'm pretty sure that IPH also use Eve-Central: marketstat_xml marketstat_xml does not tell you what region have the min sell/max buy. Take a look yourself: eve-central marketstat_xml outputWhat I meant by getting more data was: eve-central quicklook and that will take forever... Take a look yourself: eve-central quicklook output
Have u tried using http://eve.addicts.nl/ api? Its seems faster than eve.central and its actively developed? Maybe make it available for price/region lookups via options menu. I'm also sure the developer of the site might add some extra queries data if useful. He already implemented nearly all of my suggestions :P *cheers*
So maybe if u have time give it a try.
Btw how does this 6h Api restriction work in practice? Is there no "hack" around this somehow? I really like jasset to track my industrial assets and finished products, but this 6h restriction drives my crazy. On what is this 6h linked, api key, application? I would even go so far and create multiple api keys and somehow switch them so i can have a "current" asset list.
Thx for looking into this feature and the upcoming multiple lookup feature.

Golden Gnu wrote:@Andy DelGardoLooks like it's possible (finally something I can do) Lookup on eve.addicts.nl will be available from next release. Issueeve.addicts.nl as a price source will have to wait to after next release (as Scrapyard Bob suggested). IssueThe API: All I'm going to say is that someone wrote something about in the jEveAssets thread on the old forums. Please, just accept the 6h wait. You'll give the eve servers an unreasonable load!
Great news thx a lot, on the api problem, actually no it wont, since i don't need to increase the total number of updates, i simply want to choose when i trigger those. So i still just need around 4 updates a day, but i need those ofc in the 2-6h i actually play the game and setup my stuff.

Is there a option, way that let u combine the same items in different locations, POS modules? Mainly i would like to check my material, component stock in multiple labs/arrays. I can only get a list with all materials per array, but cant combine them to easily check the total stock at a POS location. I know i can select and right-click, but this is still a hassle, since i need to do this for lots of mats and than write down the results.
So if not present can u add a "group same items" option?

Golden Gnu wrote: 3) I'll suggest you use the Stockpile tool for keeping your POS stocked (It's more or less why it was made) And then use: [Stockpile] > [Shopping List] - instead of writing everything down manually...
Ah thx this seems to get the job done. |

Hey,
small suggestion, what about a "always on top" window option? So i can have jAsset open while browsing and shopping the market?
Thx Andy |

yay more feature requests :p
In the stockpile tool, can u make the columns sortable if u click on them? So that i see all the highest surplus at once and also lower stock values.

Cool thx for all the improvements :p
One more: Can u add a -/+ % column that simply shows the stuck/surplus value in % from the target, similar to the absolute value? I do setup some valid production stock, but for some cheep materials, components i rather shop directly up to 100-200% from the target, if i happen to be in jita, but i don't want to overstock like 500%.

Hi,
not 100% jAsset specific, but i'm looking for a way to "count" my T3 BPC runs per subsystem. The problem is that i cant find a way to distinguish a 3/10/20 BPC from each-other, so simply counting wont work.
Someone maybe know a way to accomplish this with jEveAsset or a API XML import, lookup? So can u distinguish the 3 versions somehow by and API attribute or is there a way to pull the BPC "runs" attribute via API?
What i basically want is use my BPC-Runs like any other normal material and check weather i have enough "runs" at stock or not.
thx Andy |

If i understand this right, this only works if the job is already installed? I would like something similar to the "Corp Blueprint" list, since there it lists the runs in the list. So can u fetch it this way somehow?
I mainly just want to count all my BPC runs that are in a corp or personal hangar. If this only works for already installed jobs, than its no use, since than i already have setup everything :p
The "Type Count" is the most similar number, to what i'm looking for, but it wont sum actual BPC-Runs, i would even just need the "unmodified" number from T3 BPC (3/10/20) since i tend to produce all runs at once, but i dont see a way to distinguish a 3 BPC from a 10 BPC of the same type/sub.
Thx for the infos on this.
bye Andy |
