Absolutely love your program - was just referred to it last night.
I have fittings sprayed everywhere, in stations, in containers in stations, and in cargoholds of various ships as I try to keep them in one place, over several toons and accounts. A lot of these are fittings I buy in bulk on trips to Jita et al as I use them a lot then take them to my mission/pvp etc bases, which of course change over time and stuff gets left around.
What I would like it to know if I have a particular fitting somewhere, not already fitted in a ship, that I can get instead of buying more tech 2 modules.
I have been playing with the asset filter but as yet can't figure out how to specify that I want the container field to be blank. - Or is there a better way to do this. If I filter for the word container in the container field I get everything I have put into containers (and I do try to put all my spare fittings into the cans to organise them but.....) I thought an or statement with blank would get me all the stuff in the hanger directly and if I miss the ships' cargohold - well - I will live with that.

@Zhigor Rhnid Thank you for your kind words! :)
Creating filters can be very tricky, sometimes... But, you solved it yourself! Practices makes perfect, I guess
Tip: If you're planing to go on a trip to several systems, collecting your gear etc. Give the routing tool a spin (It might save you a lot of jumps) Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

Thank you very much for your reply! It is really there. One word of advice though. The information is greyed out so basically "it is not there" :D I would advice to change it.
Thank you one more time for the wonderful tool!!! |

Hi GG
Firstly, thank you for a great app. I think I may have uncovered an issue with the stockpile tool, but am unsure if I am just doing something wrong.
Basically when a sales order is cancelled it is still showing as available stock in a station, besides the fact that the stock has been removed (and thus is no longer in assets).
The market window (when set to active sales orders) removes it. The stockpile doesn't, which effectively means that the stockpile for that item is showing as 59 units even though there is none there. All 17 items that were cancelled in that station still show the quantity in sales orders as the amount that was cancelled.
I can't work out if there is a way to show only active sales orders + assets in the stockpile tab, which should resolve my issue.
So if you have any ideas they would be gratefully received.
K
edit - it seems as if when a new order for that item is loaded then the active sales order overwrites the cancelled sales order, thus showing the correct stock value. Hence potentially why no-one has reported it before, because usually if you cancel an order you would replace it with a new one with higher stock quantity, unless you were closing down the sales outlet altogether (as I was in this case, before changing my mind and then wondering why jeve was still showing me as having a shed-load of items in stock). |

@Khanid Voltar Thank you for your bug report.
It is indeed a bug. All orders are included active or not. As it's not a "crash bug", the fix will be included in the next feature release.
Thank you very much for reporting it! :) Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

I wanted to make two features requests-- unless such features already exist, which is likely as I discover features I didn't know about all the time with jEveAssets. (And, I believe has made such feature requests here before.) My apologies if this is the case.
The first is a way to look at all items (and thereby some filtered selection of them) even if I don't currently have (some of) them. I believe this feature to some degree, but I would like jEveAssets to provide all the current information that I get for my inventory items (e.g., market price based on various valuation methods, market value of ore when the item is reprocessed, etc.).
Second, is a column which is the difference between sale price (however valued) and reprocessed value. It should be possible to sort all information based on this column. (And, I believe then also possible to create a filter if this value is such and so.)
Great program. |

@Haifisch Zahne First off: I'm very sorry for the delayed reply (real life, ehh).
1) Yes, It has been requested before. The problem is getting price data for every single market item. I have added an issue to review if this is feasible.
2) Good idea. Issue added.

Easy solution: simply ask Entity for his username/password and use his main hanger to get the data for (most) every item in Eve-- as he has collected (most of) everything :-)
Well, otherwise, could it be simplified to "the usual suspects" (non-eclectic items)? Not sure where the issue/s is/are.
Also, sometimes items come up with an "empty" price. This throws off the determination of whether the item is better sold/refined. Could these items be highlighted differently?

On thing I'm doing on regular basis is to check the overview module based on filtered systems and item types. I just want to know what stations I need to visit on my route to fill up my cargo. Currently I always need to go forth and back to the assets module, change the filter and again go to overview using the "source: filtered.." setting. If you could just replace that source pulldown in the overview module with a list of filters like in the assets module that would make it much more convenient to use. Also thanks for implementing the context menu summary of selected item! |

@Haifisch Zahne It's not very hard to test... However, I still need time to do it.
@Shellac Brookdale Please confirm I understand you correct: You want to be able to load assets filter directly from the overview tool? ...if that is the case: Issue added.

Would it be possible to take into account open "want to buy", "want to sell" contracts in the assets and stockpiles?
For instance, if I have a WTB public or private contract for a particular module, it should count towards the buy order column in that stockpile.

@Scrapyard Bob You're not the first to ask for contracts: issue However, I did not plan on doing it anytime soon (AKA never). It's a hard API to work with, as you need to do multiple requests, making me a sad panda... I guess, I'll move it up in the work queue...
Thank you for your feature suggestion :)

Once again, sorry if this can already be done, but I'd like to be able to set the Options-->Price Data to be, say, Sell Minimum (or another option) for Prices *and* Buy Maximum (or another option) for Reprocessed. I believe this would better reflect whether an item should be reprocessed, at least where one wants to sell quickly and knows mineral prices will fetch near Maximum.
Setting Price Data to Maximum for both options is not a good choice as selling prices are often extremely biased, and setting both to Minimum reflects poorly on the value of the minerals from Reprocessing. I am weary of using Averages and Means for price data given the Extreme price points that can exist.
Also, I had previously requested seeing the difference between Price and Reprocessed. It would also be nice-- and probably better-- to see the % difference between the two. A hundred thousand ISK difference for some large meta 4 gun might be a small marginal difference, but with some cruddy mod that would be fantastic.
(I would actually like to see a general Mathematics editor, so one could input one's own equation for a column, but with the above and the recent Sell Lowest 5%, I am reasonably happy.) |

Hi, just downloaded this, along with a version of Java you suggest here:
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1522386#post1522386
its Java 7u5, but when I click the jeveasstes.jar file I get an error message saying "a Java exception has occurred", any idea why this might be?

@Haifisch Zahne Reprocessed Price: Issue added New column: Reprocessed / Price Percent: Issue added
Mathematics editor: It would be a major task, but, feel free to contribute the code needed, I would happily review it. Also, you can export to CSV and import in any database and do everything you ask.
Thank you for your continued feedback and feature suggestions!
@Hongus Gwag That is typical a sign that something is corrupted.
Suggestion 1: 1) Re-download jEveAssets 2) Unzip the zip file 3) Double click on jeveassets.jar
Suggestion 2: 1) Download the latest version of java link 2) Uninstall all version of java link 3) Install the new version of java
Suggestion 3: If all of the above fails: Read the readme.txt about how to submit a bug report (with the log file)
If you get it to work. I would like to hear back from you. So I know what you did to fix the problem. So, others might benefit from it... :) Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

Next step is: 1) Send me the log file (see the readme.txt for instructions) 2) See if we reach CCP or not (include the result in the bug report email) https://support.eveonline.com/api/Key/Log

I have not tried 2.4.0 yet, but one issue I ran into with the Stockpile window filters up top is that it's not possible to say:
"Surplus %" "Greater Than" "(value)"
The only options are equals / not equals for Surplus %. The "Surplus" column itself can be filtered as greater than / less than some value, but not the percentage. |

Love jeveassests. Thanks for that!
Quick bug it seems in new version:
It seems that in 2.4.0 stockpiles are ignoring the System filter.
Ie. My stockpile no longer shows the number in the system chosen when creating the stockpile, but instead shows the number I have in all of eve.
This feature was working in 2.3.0, so the behavior is new. |
