@San Holo Riraille The Assets API should return all your assets, unless they are used in something special like contacts/industry jobs/market orders/etc.
This can be another "problem": If you use the assets API from more than one program/web site/etc. you might get a cashed result.
This is a bit complicated (I tried to explain the best I could - but, English is not my first language): When jEveAssets update from the API, the API tells jEveAssets when the next real time update is available (that is the time you see in the program - this is the minimum wait time). However, if another program or web site update from the API, it will change when the next real time update is available - it will of course also update the cached result. jEveAssets have no way of know this, without updating from the API. So, when jEveAssets updates from the API, it might be a cached result, produced by some other program using your API Key. And the cycle starts over...
I do not think you have to wait 7 hours to update, that sounds wrong: please note that the time use GMT time zone AKA eve time (as all jEveAssets times)
I suggest you contact CCP, if you want a real explanation - as jEveAssets have no influence on what is return by the API.
I hope my reply is helpful, I did try my best to explain it Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

I have a question about using stockpiles and shopping lists.
I have several ship fittings imported and they are looking at the assets in the station I intend to assemble the ships.
The tool correctly reflects how many modules I have ready to use and how many would be needed to complete my 'stockpile'. This is reflected in the shopping list.
The issue is that each stockpile calculation appears to assume that it can use all of the available modules.
For example:
I want to fit 10 Augorors and 10 Exequrors.
Each ship uses 1 Emergency Damage Control (meaning I need 20 modules).
I have 3 Emergency Damage Control in station.
Each shopping list says I need 7 more Emergency Damage Control modules for a total of 14.
But in reality I need 20 modules, have 3, and actually need 17.
The more fittings with common modules, the more confusing it gets.
How can I set jeveassets to not 'double count' the modules I have in stock and give me an accurate shopping list for multiple fittings?
Thanks for any help! |

@Dunk Dinkle Thank you for your bug report.
It's a very complicated problem. I will try to come up with a good solution. But, It may take a bit of time...
What you can do, until I find a solution, is add all the items to a new stockpile: 1) Mark all the items (Augorors and Exequrors stockpiles from your example) 2) Right click on the selection 3) In the table menu select: Stockpile > Add To > Add to new stockpile... 4) Enter the same location/owner/flag/container/multiplier as the original stockpiles 5) Click on the [Stockpile] button on the new stockpile and select [Shopping List] That is the only workaround I can think of ATM.
I will try to fix this ASAP.
Once again, thank you for your feedback! :) Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

Thanks for the reply.
The workaround is helpful.
The only issue is the new stockpile multiplier is the multiplier for all the fittings/items.
For example, if I wanted to shop for the fittings for 5 Exequrors and 10 Augorors, the common multiplier becomes an issue.
In the end I decided to make 10 of each ship, so it's not an big problem for me now, but if you want to change the tool for the long term, it's a factor to consider.
Thanks for all your good work. |

[Thanks for this app, it's a lifesaver]
BPO prices seem to be broken. Many show up as 0.00 but others seem to be an average of sell and buy when one of them is 0.00. BPOs are a special case since they are NPC seeded. There will frequently be none for sale at the NPC price in a region if the seeding NPC corps don't have a presence there.
For Tech I BPOs could you, by default, set the price to the 'base price?' I believe this is always the NPC price. |

Hi, great tool BTW, i've been using it for a couple of years now and love it's easy interface. I find it particularly good for finding the total volume of ships in certain stations (when organizing carriers moves etc)
I have just upgraded to the newest version (2.6.2 - odyssey 1.1.0)
it seems the "total volume" of unpackaged ships eg a fitted dominix are showing as the packaged volume. Is this intentional or how do i get the old unpackaged volume back?
many thanks for an awesome tool :)

Great work with the tool mate.
Would it be possible to track office expenses? Say I have rented 10 offices and want to quickly check how much money I'm spending on the rent, and how the prices change. Is this something that can be done.
I was looking into the Transactions tab, but it doesn't display anything at all for me.
Anyway, cheers! |

@Slaktoid Thank you for your feature suggestion and kind words! :)
It's already done and will be include in the next feature release (2.7.0)
If you like, you can try the latest dev build. The tool is called Wallet Journal.
Please, do also note that office rents are a corporation expense. So, you need a corporation API Key

I have just started working with jEveAssets and I have to say I love it.
Perhaps I'm doing it wrong, but I am trying to set up a Stockpile to make sure that I keep enough materials on hand to manufacture some T2 modules. The problem I'm running into is the integer Minimum Count value. I've been setting this to the quantity of the material used in a single run of the T2 module. For the R.A.M.* tools - that means it is a percent of a single tool. So, would be a value between 0.1 and 0.95 (depending on the BPC being used).
Am I not using the Stockpile feature correctly? How should I be doing it for keeping items on hand for manufacturing? Is there a different feature I should be using to generate my materials shopping list? |

@Yinmatook Thank you for your kind words :)
It would greatly complicate the stockpile tool, if you could use decimals (AKA It's a lot of work to implement). Logically you will always need 1 unit minimum, so it only becomes an issue when using the multiplier, as far as I can tell?
Please convince me, why this is a must-have-feature... :) Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

Yo!
There is something off about the numbers in the Journal tool. I see office rent posts fine, but most of the data dont match up. Some of it does though, so I'm not sure whats going on. Some of the dates don't match either. If you got time maybe you could investigate a little. |

As I said, I may be doing it wrong...
I have been using the multiplier to set up how many modules I want to be able to build at any time. Since each T2 Module BPC has a 10 run max, and uses .15 of the tool, then to make a run of 10, I need to have 10 tools, and I'll have 8.5 left when I'm finished, so if I have a manufacturing character that can run 10 jobs at a time, and I decide to have them use all 10 slots for the T2 module (producing 100 modules at the end), I need to have 10+ tools when I submit the last job to manufacture the final 10 modules. Since each run of 10 modules uses 1.5 tools, I need to have 24 tools (staying with integers) to make 100 modules. No matter how I use the minimum number and the multiplier, jEveAssets is going to tell me that I need at a minumum 100 of the tools and at $75K per tool, that's a lot of wasted ISK.
Perhaps, the stockpile feature is really only there for traders and not for the Industrialist to use? |

Heyho,
love your program but have a question.
I am a Trader and want to use the Stockpile for my shopping list. I have set the location where i have my stash with all the items (in normal hangar and in a container. But when i update eveassets it does not show me my actual stockings. It says that i have no items in my hangar and have to buy everything. Where is the Problem?

@Echutar If you set container rule, it will only include items in that container, nothing else... Set container to: "All" And possible flag to "All" ...will probably fix it (It's hard to say without seeing the stockpile rules)
Not everything is possible with the stockpile tool in 2.6.3
If you want, you can try the latest beta, it offer a lot more flexibility for stockpiles (Multiple locations/owners/containers/flags)
for 2.7.0 this is how the rules work: Must match one of the containers and one of the flags and one of the owners and one of the locations
It's not perfect, but, it's a lot better than 2.6.3, where only one flag/container can be matched...
For 2.7.0 your rules would be as follow: [Container] "Station Container #XXXXXXXXX" [Container] "None"
That would match the container and the hangar...
I hope you find this useful. If not, please, reply here again. I will try to help the best I can... Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

@Echutar No problem. Those are filters, not stockpile rules (I know it's a bit confusing, sorry...)
1) Press the "Stockpile" button (To the left of the stockpile name in the table) 2) Select "Edit" 3) This shows the stockpile edit dialog - this is where you need to set container and flag to "all" - and possible owner.
Let me know if that fix it for you... Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |

@Echutar Asset updates times are set by CCP, nothing I can do about that. I suggest you ask the CSM if you want it to change (it used to be a lot longer, though). If you update before that (via sneaky tricks) you will just get a cached result AKA no new data.
Your location in game does not matter for the API jEveAssets uses - unless you're in space (I think).
I'm unsure what you mean by "current amount in the market"???
If by any chance you mean your own Buy/Sell orders included in your stockpile: 1) Go to stockpile edit dialog (just like before) 2) Check "buy orders" and "sell orders" ...if not, please explain what you mean! :) Download is the meaning of life, upload is the meaning of intelligent life http://eve.nikr.net - home of jEveAssets |
