Tactics Rig
Well the basic idea isnÆt mine. I saw in on a different thread, but it was implanted in a different way. It got me thinking though, so IÆve just put down my ideas of how I think it could work.
These are special rigs that go into the rig slot as normal. But then appear just above the Modules area as 3 more modules. Being an awesome Pod pilot, you know about these tactics, but now you have the modules to redirect systems in your ship to perform your manoeuvres. You can only fit 3 in at a time, and they drain heavily on cap, but they can be used to great advantage especially after skills.
Though IÆm not sure what kind of skills these should have. I was hoping for some feed back on that.
Field Tactics Rig: 1000, after skills 500 activation cost Activation time 5secs Calibration: 100
Charge: 55% bonus to Shield/Armour resists Penalty: 50% Reduction in shield boost and armour repair amount
Siege: 50% bonus to shield boost and armour repair amount. Penalty: 75% reduction to base speed.
Anti Bombardment: 50% reduction to Sig Radius / 50% Bonus Defender Missile dmg boost / 50% bonus missile Launcher RoF (when loaded with defender missile). Penalty: 75% reduction to MWD effectiveness. 75% reduction to base speed.
Evade: 20% bonus to Base speed 50% reduction to EW effectiveness
Barrage: 15% bonus to rate of fire. Penalty: -30% to base speed.
Aggress: -50% to short warping distance. Penalty: -50% to shield and armour resists 50% Reduction in shield boost and armour repair amount
Focus Sensors: 20% bonus to EW efficiency/range Penalty: -20% to launcher and turret Rate of fire -20% to base speed
Hibernate: 80% bonus to cap recharge rate and 80% reduction in Tactical Module activation cost. -20% to Rate of fire -20% to Damage -20% to shield and armour resists -20% to shield boost and armour repair.
Bombardment: 50% Bonus turret fall off/ missile flight time -20% to base speed -20% to ship agility
These work the same way except they work globally within a squad.
