Please set me straight because I'm too old to believe that you can get something for nothing.
Trial account plus one month sub $20 6 weeks of skill learning( doing learning skills 1st) and this part im not sure on cos im noob but in 5 days i'm at 1 mill SP-i am currently making 32k SP a day so even if i don't take into account that my rate will rise exponentially because of training skills being learned then i will be on 32000 SP x 36 days=1152000 + 1 mill currently on=2 mill+ ( will prolly be more like 2.5mill)
Characters sell at 300 mill ISK for 1 mill SP so my character would be worth 600-750 mill ISK
600-750 ISK buys 100 day GTC and then some
3 months sub to EVE is $60
so for a $20 sub with trial account-sitting in a station just skill learning I can make a 2 month subscription profit which I can use to play my main for free forever if i keep doing it. Even without the trial account it seems ez because I have been conservative with SP earned. All the time of course I would play my main so I am not missing out on playing-the other characters r basically money for nothing.
So pls tell me what am i missing? I'm new so i assume that there's something i don't know which flaws my logic. I'm also assuming that I'm not the first person to think of this because I've met some smarties on the forum.

You have to pay the Ç20 transfer fee each sale -- BIG Lottery, BIG Deal, InEve [Now Verified] & Recruiting

Characters don't sell for 300 mil per 1 mil SP.
That's a price some are willing to pay for specially trained chars like research alts or capital ship pilots.
A newbie char with no focus is lucky to get 100 mil per 1 mil SP, if anybody would buy it. ------------------------ I don't believe in sigs. |

1) $20 transfer fee is still one month profit and my figures were conservative 2) Is it possible for a non-newb to spend the points wisely and with little effort make a character worth 300mill ISK per 1 mill SP?

Good analysis. The price some pay for chars is indeed outrageously high.
