OK so seems that carriers won't be able to store ships with cargo in them in their ship maintenance array, but what exactly is cargo?
Ammunition is apparently fine, cap boosters, crystals etc according to the devs.
What about when people like to carry a few spare mods in their ship, an extra web, and sensor damp? I haven't seen this clarrified yet.

Edited by: DarkWynd on 29/11/2007 02:37:21 I suppose this means that ore or ice is no longer able to be in the hold either? How will that work out for the times someone needs to dock up in a hurry (hostiles, perhaps) and they get a hulk popped because he was trying to dump cargo first.
I love the buff to the Rorquals hold and hangar sizes, but this basically eliminates the whole point of hauling industrials in your ship hangar. By comparison, its like removing modules from combat ships before you can dock them in a carrier.

Only things that can be loaded into modules (charges) can be in cargo. Crystals, ammo, scripts and cap boosters basically. Drones can be in the drone bay, but not in cargo. Nothing else can be in cargo.

So CCP complain that carriers are too overpowered in combat, so they try to nerf fighters, saying they want carriers to be logistic ships. Of course BoB start to rabble and they change their mind, so they nerf the logistic side of it instead?
I for one will be melting my thanatos as soon as trinity hits to build a rorqual, or will the devs nerf that too considering its better than a jump freighter anyway?
