Guess its a good thing it died Its still no replacement for my 8 year old G5 that died last fall. I'm about ready to get one of those chinese replacement cables for it from ebay but that seems sketchy. Guess its back to the ol' wireless microsoft mouse. I actually like this little bugger quite a bit. The only things I don't like about it is the scroll wheel does not click which is a pain for switching weapons in shooters (not that I really play them anyway especially online ones). And the battery does not last long. Otherwise the tracking is fantastic on it and its smooth as butter. I got a logitech G602 for christmas. It is awesome.
Despite being wireless, it can last for quite some while. They say 250 hours on gaming mode and 1400hours on saving mode. One Man Crew - The official Bringing Solo Back contest

Doubtful. They have always been church-going. This has more to do with exterior looks than their actual philosophy. Those two are the things that have switched places so it now appears backwards (Bible-Thumping primitives who tote guns....but look like hippies from back in the day). I know that's right. I'm not even gonna bring up Liz Cheney dropping out of the Senate Race in Wyoming, unfortunately. (Liz is the cool one. Her sister Mary is the witch).

Downton Albee
(that may be obscure...)
Yes, 4th season of "Downton" started last night. \o/
Weirdest aspect is the actress playing Mary (who has lost a child....and now husband in last minute or so of the previous season finale).
I mean....there is playing depressed, and then there is playing depressed to a rather comic level. My God, she spends the whole show drifting wraith-like through the house with overly pale make-up on. She looks and acts like she wandered off the set of Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows" or something.
Just a truly awful performance, and I don't know why the director did not realize how badly this was executed. Completely unbelievable. Especially considering the season opens 6 months after all the horrific deaths. I just find it strange they didn't re-shoot her awful scenes. I'm real curious how it passed muster. Weird. It's a case of half the viewership is Idolizing Worshippers of Mediocrity. The other half of the viewership is watching in Appalled Disgust. Add the 2 and that's gonna be a huge number.
And yes, the only reason the show was not outright canceled a few weeks ago is MONEY. But then A&E is owned by ABC, who if I recall must be going broke as they wanted that guarantee of viewership in order to do a "Fresh Prince" tribute to James Avery. (Oh, yeah...going broke indeed).
Seriously, it's all not even a sick joke. None of this crap has any planned direction whatsoever. "He has mounted his hind-legs, and blown crass vapidities through the bowel of his neck."-á - Ambrose Bierce on Oscar Wilde's Lecture in San Francisco 1882 |

I have absolutely no recall of this episode.
Creators of "Survivor" should pay up...........
Gilligan's Island "Take a Dare" A game-show contestant (Strother Martin) is plunked on the isle for a week to fend for himself---and win $10,000. Eventually, he's discovered by the castaways, who make a deal with the fellow for a rescue.
edit: BTW, looks like they are not only doing a reboot Travesty.....the whole thing is also headed to Broadway as a musical (plot actually involves aliens on the island ).
