There are two major factors in decided on schools, imo.
Is private really better than public?
Can we actually afford private education?
After lenghty debates between ourselves and those around us, from both spectrums of schooling, it was decided the answer to both questions is ... no.
Well in that case I probably can't say anything new to you. It's just that public schools aim to provide a minimum of education tailored to the capabilities of an average kid. It can be really poisonous to the mind when you're ahead of the curve. How do I get rid of this thing? |

I could write an essay on my feelings regarding the topic, but suffice to say most of the people I know who attended private education are currently working more mundane, lower paid jobs than even I am. The parents I know who are putting their kids through private schooling are working horrendous hours to attempt to pay for it. $300 for a ******* blazer?
I'm not a lawyer, or doctor, and I'd have to work hideous hours to even barely keep up. Meaning I'd rarely get time at home with the girls - and that is where the most valuable education takes place imo.
The other worry in my mind is "keeping up with the Jones's" as the saying goes. When the girls come home asking for the latest iPhones /iPads and trendiest, expensive clothes brands because all their school friends have them I just couldn't provide that. And when they learn their peers spent school vacation in Europe with mum and dad while we went camping then... UGG.
The final concern I have is that here most private schools are catholic. Don't get me started on Catholicism.
So a lot of factors to weigh up. I want the best for them, thus the question becomes what defines the best upbringing? -áGÖí-á-á-áMajor (Ret.) Caldari Naval Militia Gÿá -á Sky Fighters | Just an innocent explorer! pâä Sith1s Spectre: "Here at Sky Fighters we respect quality forum PvPers." |

i want tea, but i don't feel like moving to go make tea....
also i could never get away with 'too much eve' as a reason for being tired. my boss is an old guy who doesn't understand videogames and has never played one in his life. You can't take the sky from me

Interesting, I shall give it a read. I also have a 'Mentor' of sorts. But you know when someone speaks and your trying to listen and then it all goes quiet because your mind isnt really interested? some one man outfit, looks like he decs inactive looking corps with offline pos's and shoots their arrays to see if anything falls out.
hence my doing pos-schui last night
only thing is, i'm gonna get a less than 30 mins window to shoot him. You can't take the sky from me
