Hi guys me and a few friends are wanting to try out some different strategies on running the anoms in a c4. In particular we would like to run these strategies on the test server.
I was wondering if anybody would be so kind as to possibly let us borrow thier hole on the test server for a few trial runs. Really any C4 will do it doesnt even have to be your own meaning if by chance you had a c2 with a highsec static and a c4 static we would simply use your hole to get to our destination.
I would greatly appreciate some help on this matter.. thank you |

i am in the process of going thru similar.
you can either: 1. get access to someone elses C4 in sisi .... perhaps not easy because sis is quiet; 2. go into sisi and find the system you're after ... doable, but not easy because quiet and so not the number of K162s as in TQ; 3. pop a toon into a c4 in TQ and wait for the next sisi mirror and login to sis then, already in the system you're after ... delayed.
I am running option 2 atm. not quick but getting there slowly. I do have a c4 in sisi atm, but no hisec connection to it i'm afraid.

Sure, goto all the trouble of jumping onto the test server to test RR fits but at the end of the day you're still in a C4. C5 sites are worth roughly 4x as much with basically the same effort plus there's the option of escalations. Or go down to a C3 and blitz them.
And re basic tactics: Everyone into a RR tengu, or 2 basis/guardians and whatever buffer DPS. |

it isnt useless, it's the best advice you can give anyone asking about C4s.
if you insist, you can run any C4 site with 2 guards and 2 navy geddons or 3 rr tengus. |

2 local-tank tengu, or 1 tengu and 1 rattlesnake, also cope with C4 sites fairly well. Not super quickly, but they manage.
1 tengu **can** (still) but that's really of academic interest only coz it takes so damn long.
For OP, feel free to contact me ingame. I have a small team in sisi looking for useful w-systems. ATM we're in a C5 static-C5, but I am hoping to eventually find my way to some useful C2s. Happy to share any useful access I get with you.

Speaking of C5s, how many Tengus would you need for the anomalies there, assuming you've got a Tengu booster in system as well. Also if you keep numbers lower would you have to compensate that with more expensive fits compared to a c4? |

Perhaps, instead of wasting your time on the test server, you should go ahead and post your strategies and let people mull over them. Trust me, you're only re-inventing the wheel, not divulging some great and wonderful insight many of us have completely missed.

As few as 3 RR Tengus but you'll be limited to the types of sites you can run. 4 is better, 5 -6 is ideal. As for expense of fittings, meh, yeah, I support. You can either run it active or passive fits. Active fits aren't nearly as useful as you would think since the neuting will drain your cap to 0. I have a active RR tengu that is 71% cap stable , everything running, and it still doesn't keep it's cap when neuted in c5's. And yes, that Tengu is about 180 - 200mil over equivalent T2 fit variant. We want breast augmentations and sluttier clothing in the NeX! |

Yeah i was presuming using the RR variation, don't really trust local reps under sleeper neuts :) Question is basicly can you get away with T2 invuls or should one go with passive deadspace amps. Could you elaborate on the limitations? Basicly only anos or even restrictions that you can't run all the anomalies.
Edit: ah ok, that answers at least the question regarding the hardeners. |
