I'm not typically a big fan of histrionics here, so I'll skip the "omg teh market its crashing/booming/whatever" stuff and move right to the meat and potatoes.
The QEN mentioned that the market is in a position to go into rapid price increases. This fits the fact that there's a lot of money and a lot of relatively undervalued goods (since prices in general are going down and not up as they should).
The only thing keeping the market from stagflation, then, would be relatively steady output growth. Traders, in my mind, are preventing a steady price increase through fierce competition. This could be a good thing, but if it wavers things could get ugly.
What I mean by that is that, after the rush to produce goods and get in on the early-buyer gravy train, output growth (real growth, not temporary spikes) will slow. Of course, we'll always have miners and salvagers providing steady growth in those areas, but I think growth in the production of smaller T2 items (with more reliable success rates) will slow.
Without steady growth in reliable industries, and with increased market demand for items with consistent supply (leading to rising prices on said items), we'll get stagflation.
This is another argument for the removal of mineral price ceilings and floors, in my opinion, since it would lead to rapid growth in the mining industry and therefore balance out a lack of real growth in other industries.
That make any sense to anyone but me? Anyone have any opinions? Am I completely off my rocker? This is largely just conjecture on my part, of course, and is by no means meant to be alarmist.

What, there is no such thing. There is no limitations on that.

There are price cieling/floors on minerals, but you have to know where to look to find them. The answer is NPC spawned items such as Shuttles.
There comes a point where it is cheaper for you to purchase Shuttles and reprocess them for their mineral content rather than buy those same minerals fromt he openmarket.

Nice to see someone from my old alma mater around. I just hope you limit yourself to combat and diplomacy though as your statement is vastly incorrect. The ceilings and floors in this game are well documented, often moaned about, and are very much under absolute CCP control. And just for the record, I think I've said this before, I would love to have the limits removed. If for no other reason than to have market pvp intensity raised up a few notches. Help separate the dabblers (like myself currently) from the real market monsters.

remove t1 module loot from npc rat drops.
Gives the market a whole lot of new opportunities especially for the budding producer.

I think that's definitely a good idea, as most of the T1 items you can make any reasonable profit on are things that don't drop.
However, there are exceptions even to this, such as prices on various T1 ships. While removing NPC sell orders for these would remove the price ceilings, I have a feeling that people would still be selling at or just below mineral value since, after all, when I mine the minerals they're free.
What they really should do is provide basic economics training in the tutorial, such as teaching people that time has a value.

They absolutely should not do this.
I agree on the price ceilings/floors for minerals. I'd also love to see insurance reworked BIG TIME. But even a quick change of removing insurance when Concorded would be a nice start.
Do this and you'll see some price shifts very quickly.

Ah, the danger of hanging too much around in 0.0. No such things there. So that is the ceiling, reprocessing npc-sold goods.
The floor is harder to see though, provided the "*NPC buy orders for minerals have been removed." goes through in the next expansion. That seems to be removed now, as doing anything with the minerals oneself one require time.
