Guys a new PC mag came out in UK last month - Total PC Gaming. Anyway that have a dedicated MMO section that had some stuff about EVE.
As its a startup I decided to check out their forums and they are sparse to say the least - however I assume they will fill in time.
Anyway I have been posting some EVE stuff there and one of their journalists has posted the following thread:
http://www.totalpcgaming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=87
The journo is looking for feedback from EVE players.
The request is as follows:
Before the patch hits: What are you looking forward to? What are you not looking forward to? Are CCP planning to nerf your favourite ships or weapons? How do you think this will change your in-game strategies?
When the patch hits, and afterwards: What do you think of the new ships? What about the other new content? Did they nerf something you liked, or have they introduced something you think is awesome? And how long did you spend in a log-in queue?
I know we've got a few Eve players here so I'd love to hear your views on this huge update. Drag your corp mates over here as well, all opinions are welcome
Anyway if you can be arsed go over and give your views - you never know you may get a mention!

A new PC mag you say? Wow.
The newest one this week?
Glad they thought up a new and exciting title like that.
Do they score EVERY game at 90% or above, like every other magazine? The moment they got funded by advertisers who don't place adverts if you say their game scores 12% they become irrelevant.
Zzap, Crash, C&VG and the others (Oric, BBC and whatnot). The days when we needed computer magazines.
I trust others will crap in this shameless plug also. --
Awwwww Diddums! Did I wardec your highsec alt recently or something? |

If you knew me you would know that I have no reason to 'shamelessly plug' anything.
I simply saw this as an opportunity for EVE players to get in at the ground floor and provide feedback on Trinity and perhaps get themselves (and this game which I love) some limelight in the process.
For your interest this is the first new 'PC Gaming' mag in the UK for about 8 years and is actually only the 3rd dedicated gaming mag for PC.
I already buy both PC Zone and PC Gamer and in general (unlike their namesakes in other countries) the UK versions are pretty even handed in terms of their reviews because they value their credibility.
Whether Total PC Gaming proves to be a worthwhile buy in the future I don't know but I really don't think there is any reason that EVE players cannot play a part in informing its content.

Actually, if this is from the same guys as Total Film it may be worth a look. PC Gamer is pretty much the bee's knees at the moment (and they mention Eve almost Every Fricking Issue) so a decent competitor would be handy.

Yeah, there is a nice little piece from Jim Rossignol (EVE's biggest journalist fanboi) in the latest PC Gamer talking about his particular love of cloaking tactics and sitting in wait for prey.
I really wish I knew who his ingame character is. I have a feeling he is a Minmatar freedom fighter ------------------------------

I posted a version on CAOD last week. I have tweaked it since then removing some of the most obvious errors based on feedback although there is still work to do... I actually wrote the original for that forum as it was my intent to create an account that reflected the flavour and 'ebb & flow' of the 'great war' without getting bogged down in too much detail... ------------------------------
