Agent X requires a personal, corp or faction standing of at least 1.15. My corp has a standing of over 2 with this agent and a few of us have been running missions with him for a while.
However, one of my corpmates is unable to use the agent dispite our corp's good standing. Can anyone explain why this might happen?
Thx.

The corp standing required is the players standing towards the npc corp, not your corps standing towards the agent... as far as I know, at least.

your standing to the person (the specific agent) the corp (which ever corp the agent works for) or faction (which ever factions... such as Gallente for the Fed navy or something like that)
Though... i thought your corps standing would effect agents some time... did that ever get talked about? or just my imagination?

That would make sense were it not for the fact that other corp members who have insufficient personal standings towards the agent are still able to use him.
As a corp we have been working with the same agent company so that new members will be able to skip lower level agents and move straight to level 3. This has been sucessful so far but, as I say, we have one member whom the agent won't speak to. |

Are your connections skill levels similar?

Nope. Some people have trained connections, some not and we can all use the agent. It's just this one corp member who can't.
We can't work out anything that singles him out from the rest of us.

You could try getting people to check the relations tab under standings in the agents information screen. This should show the modified standings between the agent and the individual/corp. You could then check for differences between this one corp member and the rest of you. It may help you to discover what's wrong.

Its possible that his race or personal standings have affected it, if he has good faction standing with enemys of this corp it will lower his standing with the agent. Its also possible he fraged this guys pet rat at some point and that ****ed him off.
