Ok, is'nt it about time T2 Remote Sensor Dampers got a fix? For heavens sake, T2 is supposed to be better than best named and inferior to most faction. But, Muon Dampers have the same bonuses as the T2 version, yet use less CPU and power!!! Come on, has no one realised thats why Muons cost at least 10 million from the market whilst T2 is only 800K!!! My suggestion would be to increase the bonus from the 17% they have now to 20% for T2 versions.

It's not only damps, all EW modules have the best-named version being better than the t2 one. A bit screwy, but there you go. Applies to some other modules, too (istabs, etc).
T2 is not always better than t1.

A lot of t2 items are a complete waste of space, it really is about time that t2 fittings had a balance pass. Why on earth would anyone want to spend money on items with higher fitting req's, require much greater sp investment and offer absolutely no advantage over their best named counterpart? Someone at ccp needs a kick up the backside over this. Regards HexCaliber Man kinds greatest Strength and greatest weakness is HOPE

But they do have an advantage: cost and availability. Maybe back in the pre-invention days when T2 cost more than best named you may have had a point, but now T2 and best named having the same effect makes sense. If you need to squeeze out that extra CPU then you fork out the cash for best named. If you have CPU to spare you save yourself 9 million ISK and buy the T2. --- Honest officer, the dwarf was on fire when I got here! Can't find a mechanical engineering agent? forget that I personally would love if they were teh 2 because they had half the fitting power grid and CPU.
that would be great because then you would train in order to fit more to your ship.
but increase works too :P
