I have been playing quite a long time now, with frequent breaks, my character probably has about 4 months of actual playing time, I currently sit on about 150m which I made by mining and selling T1 frigates in empire, and shuttles in 0.0 stations. But here is my problem,
I see people say things like "I made 100m/day", and right now trading and mining the best I can with my small collection of T1 ship and module BPO's I sit on about 10-20m/day at the most. And I dont understand how.
Most of these people arent even using T2 BPO's when I ask them they say "Just trading", I look on several different markets I with alts I palce strategically to see the markets in various locations. And assuming I could transport 4000 Medium shield extenders in my Bestower over 14 jumps I still only stand to make a minimal amount of ISK compared to the time I have to put into it.
I cant see even what I am doing wrong. Selling the items that are affordable and give the greatest return possible and are in high-ish demand still seems to fall short of 100m a day that most of the people I talk to make.
I dont usually like to ask for help, but this time I am completely stumped. Could someone please eve-mail me, or post here a strategem they could advise for me to bring my isk per day up to something more respectable. Remember, I only have 150m isk but as long as I keep at least 20m isk so I can replace my barge if it goes pop, I would happily risk it all for a shot at greatness.
Thank you.

you are making great money for the capital you are investing
now you will need to find your own personal style of trading or turn to either inter regional hauling or station trading
no one will help you

It sounds to me like you desperately need to read the guides posted in the stickies above.
Aside from that, what Galgorth said is correct.
Sink everything you have into trading if you want to make money doing it. Combat pilots use ammunition and modules to do their business. Industrialists use minerals and blueprints.
Money is a means, not an end.

Well obviously I'm not going to be too specific...
It sounds like you need to spend some time researching the market. Consider anything and everything, as long as you have the cash to sink into buying it.
Also, separate trading from hauling. At the moment you seem to be thinking of doing both which seriously limits your profitability depending upon the time you have available.

That isnt trading, that is hauling. Hauling is worth peanuts, use courier contracts to do your hauling, and someone else with no clue will do it for you.
Trading is buying low and selling high. This is normally achieved by putting up buy orders (to buy with) at the low price, and sell orders (once you have stock) to sell at the high price.
And other traders will outbid or undercut your orders, so they dont buy or sell. You will need to adjust them every so often. There appear to be two strategies: Adjust orders frequently, by very small increments (known as a 0.01 isk traders), or adjust orders by large enough amounts that other people dont want to compete with you. Each group realy realy ****es off the other group.
