Are there any stable parts of 0.0? I realize this sounds like an odd question since 0.0 is lawless but I'm wondering? I hear there are lots of wars in 0.0 for moon goo. Does anyone actually own space that is stable where a person can rat, mine, and participate in cta's or regular roams without being in a constant state of battle, or without having reds floating in system everyday 23/7?

First off: yes, there is LOTS of stable space.
Second off: Why the hell would you go to null-sec? Get in a T1 Battleship and earn twice as much doing Incursions. |

Sounds a lot like 0.0 space to me...
Seriously though besides the big battles and occasional roaming fleet, 0.0 is pretty low-key. |

If you're looking for someplace where you can not pay attention to anything going on around you, there is no such place in EvE. Not even highsec. Especially not highsec - people like me take vacations in highsec that tend to involve crashing Catalysts into random spaceships, and I have a corpmate who makes all his money by getting his four buds in Tornadoes together and shooting pimp maraduers and faction BS in highsec.
I live in crappy 0.0 truesec nullsec and between PI, ratting, and exploration I still make more ISK than I would anywhere in highsec, except maybe doing incursions. My killboard - http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Kessiaan |

Wait...
So you want Space that has regular OPs where you role around and harass folks by PvP'ing them but don't want them to return the favor by roaming in your Space?

Are you looking to install a bot somewhere? In answer to your question yes there is plenty of null space like that. In fact most of 0.0 is like that.
Can you AFK rat with no chance of dying, not really. If you see a neut/red in local should you probably safe up until it is determined what he is and who he has with him? Yes. All in all though, you can have very long periods of uninterrupted ratting/whatever in any major alliance's space. Can an AFK cloaker hurt you? See the many related threads on that subject and determine for yourself.
As far as that goes, if you're intelligent, you can go day tripping into null and make a lot of isk relatively easy. I did it for quite some time to make isk until I found an easier way.
Another option would be NPC null. There tends to be more neuts around but you can run pirate missions and what not and you don't have to join some big dumb alliance. |

No, No... I think you all misunderstood.
I'm talking about 0.0 space that is not currently contested. I wouldn't mind people roaming through and me have to jump in a pvp ship to defend. But from what my friends are saying all of 0.0 is currently fighting among themselves for rights to moons before the big nerf?
Is there any 0.0 space which is NOT currently contested or being completely harassed by some random alliance?

All 0.0 are contest space. Even pirate NPC system have many people shoot you. Some place in null very deep and more safe than for high sec. No one reach you.

Only the northern quadrant of EVE has technetium moons. The East is fighting over a clash of Russian overlord egos and the South is locked in a forever war between -A- and the East, leaving vast stretches of unpopulated space between Stain and Insmother. |

Thank you. I didn't realize this was going on. To best answer your question, the alliances located western quadrant of EVE and in Providence would have the level of activity you seem intereted in, with few sov contests going on at the moment. Sovereignty being entirerly player driven, this is always in constantly flux; not too long ago I would have said the North and the East seem to be entrenched for life thanks to the NC and the DRF, both of which are effectively dead. |

Funny, in all my time in 0.0 alliances this never happened to me. I would always log on when I wished, and played the game as I wished.
Granted, I didn't have a problem going to assist my fellow alliance members when they were in need (and happily accepted their assistance when I was the one in a bad spot)... or in being notified when there were scheduled "group activities" that I could participate in if I chose to make plans to do so.
Some people aren't wired that way I suppose... the sort that would interpret the statement "I'll have dinner on the table at 7:00pm" as an ultimatum, and would prefer to sit in the corner gnawing on a stale Pop-Tart whilst screaming "You're not the boss of me!!!".
To each his own. Bon Apetit. When I check troll in the dictionary, it has a photo shopped picture of you standing somewhere in the vicinity of a point.
Also, I can kill you with my brain. |

Stable 0.0? Well it depends on how much you sweat when war comes.
If you leave during a war you are contributing to the unstability. Other corps and alliances will take advantage and get more space during the unstable times.
I have based out of the same station in sov 0.0 FOR MORE THAN A YEAR (1 year 2 months) and have survived through 2 sov wars. Strong leaders show through during these unstable times...
Thanks -A- for giving us a chance in 0.0! <333333333 |

Relatively ok. Can roam around for hours and not find a fight. I would think with the empty systems around, if you were to stay low, you could do whatever you feel like doing. |

Sure you can, Come down to Curse. There's three great systems that are perfect for what you are looking for. They are in a chain so you can move back and forth no problem First one is K-QWHE, great for missions and generic ratting, good market in there too. Second one is CL-85V, good agents and some good stations too, nice belts to mine with handsome rewards. Third one is 8G-MQV, fantastic ratting near the gates and some of the best PI in EVE. All three are usually quiet, see the occasional small fleet moving down now and again, but they leave you alone, couple of neuts here and there, but no biggie. Come on down and try it out, get a feel for it. -áThe Sideburns- Always Outnumbered- Never Outgunned. Manchester United - Paul Scholes= Genius |

A lot of alliances have rather stable home regions. Well-supplied market hubs, and most people around are members / allies. NPC Nullsec is stable in the sense that it is essentially impossible to forcibly remove anyone who lives there, and tends to play out a lot more like lowsec without all the annoyances, like sec loss and gate guns. Its where most of the smaller alliances live, and where a lot of solo and small gang PvP happens. And of course there are regions that are currently very unstable, like Delve since IT died, or Cloud Ring (though its claimed rather stably right now, it has a long history of changing hands). |
