Hey guys. I'm having trouble fitting everything on my Manticore. CPU is a damn pain in the ass. Assume all fitting skills at 5. Someone help me out? --

Not sure what your setup but...
3 x Cruise II 1 x Cloak II
2 x Kapteyn Sensor damp(range script) 1 x X5 webber 1 x Sensor booster II(speed script)
1 x BCU II 1 x Co-Proc II
You're welcome

EDIT: You're using a webber... --

3X arblest launchers t2 cloak 2 damps with range scripts i usually go passive targeted if im pirating but you can fit a target painter and a sensor booster with speed script (just because you can hit at 150km dosent mean that you should try) and 2 bcu or a bcu and t2 cpu if you need it. my favorite setup right there ---------------------------

I suppose it depends on what you intend on using is for. I hope you wont be bringing it along for fleet fights as it sucks terrible ********* at that. TBH, stealth bombers have limited uses. The best use is covert opportunistic popping.
The best place to have one is in a system that is being sieged and has a large bubble on a gate. You cloak off the gate within your firing range. When a ship is in the bubble, you align, uncloak, target, fire and warp away or cloak again.
You may use targeting range script, but you'll probably find that your target warps by the time the missiles get there anyway.
The webber is defensive only. Mostly useful if you are engaged by a solo frig/inty tackler. You dampen them so they have to be close. If they do come close you web, and kill. Everyone knows though, if you get targeted by more than one ship, you will usually die.

To be fair he didn't tell you what to fly, only that the Manticore is a problem.

My advice:
1 x covert ops cloak 3 x Arbalest Launchers (RoF CAN mean life or death but IMO it rarely does - but no reason to use malkuth)
1 x sensor booster (lock time script most of the times) 2 x sensor damps (best named *phased muon* for cpu though T2 should be possible) 1 x sensor booster, webifier, warp disruptor II or sensor damp
1 x BCU II 1 x Overdrive II
Rigging and setup totally depends on flavour and tactics... lock time rigs, damp rigs - maybe missile rigs if you exchange overdrive for co-processor or manage to save enough cpu
Pinky
PS: the webifier mentioned above is the choice of some pilots to sneak up on fast frigates or defence against being caught by a close range interceptor... - I'm a nice guy!!
But hook me up with some pew pew, because I'm really bored... |

only if you fly it wrong most from what ive seen alot of people fly them once then immediately decide they suck, it takes quite a while to actually have the skill to pilot them right, hell i lost nearly 8 of em before i started gettign good at flying em. ---------------------------

You mean that the basic 70 km locking range (+ skills >80km) is not enough for you
Originally by: Marcus Druallis EDIT: You're using a webber...
Well some ppl think it's a good idea to close up on fast frigs and full them into engaging you...you should have time for a second volley if you could web em...
Or they could warp out before it? So if you do fit a web, at least supplement it with a scrambler. TPs are meaningless, any frig class ship will receive almost identical dmg without it, due to sig decrease bonuses on Bombers.
I've flown a purifier. Makes things simpler with its 3 meds, 3 lows, or at least different. I fit a MWD, BCU and speed mods in the lows
