They already work that way. The module deactivates when the cloak is activated and finishes off it's cycle, just like your turrets.

The way it is now you can activate your cloak while the speed module is active, The speed module will just not repeat(it will try but it cant and give you a message saying so). i'd like to see the speed mod(all mods for that matter) having to be inactive for the cloak to activate.

i would actually like it if cloaking could not be perma-ran.
ie you can stay cloaked for 20-30 mins but then you have a 5 min cooldown. (rough numbers)
even the cov ops can't stay cloaked for ever, maybe 1 hour then 5 min cooldown or 10 min cooldown.
this way people can't afk cloak for 24 hours and have the entire system in lockdown. or have like 5 people afk cloak and put the system in lockdown.

I am quite sure I know what this is directed against, but you haven't made an argument as to why this is imbalanced or overpowered. It seems that somebody escaped his super-blobbed-and-mega-bubbled-gate-camp and now he wants to make the cloakers pay for this. Cloakers are made for passing enemy gate camps so there is really no need to nerv them even more.

Do you guys seriously let cloakers lock down your system? Just because there is a red in local you won't venture out of the station? What space are you in, I want to visit sometime. =D

I agree, if you can't defend yourself in low sec, you shouldn't be in low sec.

I'm not going to say what it fixes since i dont want an allready abused game mechanic abused even more. Suffice to say its easy to evade any lowsec camp with just a prototype cloak and a mwd. In 0.0 theres no real problem since bubbles are available.

covps/recon/blackops class ships is fine, but when a 25k m3 hauler exploits the game mechanics and warps like an interceptor (if the gate is camped or not doesnt matter, the invulnerability is just an added "sideffect")
1 person a week 2 months ago 5 persons a week 1 month ago 20 persons a week do it now
mwd + cloak isn't really the problem here, it's the exploitation of warp speed calculations. from my obersvations it is possible to abuse lag and decloak & warp at the same time - resulting in a battleship warping when doing 20m/s.
i wrote a petition to ask a gm to look in the possible use of a macro/exploit here. after some back and forth i put it this way:
"so it is intended for battleships and haulers to align and warp faster than interceptors and be invulnerable as a sideeffect?"
GM response: "yes."

I support the removal of this feature no ship with a speed penalty on cloaks should be able to insta warp by using the feature of mwd activation
