The Serpentis 3/10 now mostly drops Coreli A-Type Small REMOTE armor reppers. A completely pointless mod. I realize the logic in not dropping Gist mods in a Serpentis complex anymore, but you could have at least seeded them with something even vaguely valuable. Yes I know, they do drop other mods occasionally that are somewhat valuable, but it is pretty infrequent. I've amassed quite a little stockpile of these stupid mods.
At very least introduce some sort of frigate sized logistics ship so I have something to even use them with. ----------------------------------------------------

I'll buy a few. Always nice to have them offlined in deep 0.0 for after-fight use in ceptor gangs. Contract some to me. Drink apple juice; OJ will KILL YOU! |

So wait, you're mad because your mod farming opportunity is broken? LOL?

Isn't it about time you gave the sour pirate thing a rest? Its supposed to be the carebears who whine but just about every thread or post by you is sour grapes about other EVE players chosen play style. ----------------------------------------------- My new years resolution is to give up nonconstructive posting |

Pardon me if I do exploration to pay for my PvP ships instead of mission running or belt ratting. If you want to call everything people do in EVE to make isk "farming" that's up to you. Back when 3/10's were static and people just sat in them all day long waiting for the final structure to spawn, THAT was farming. Exploration sites take time, effort, and skill to find. If they want to get rid of the 3/10's that is fine by me, because then at least I wouldn't have to spend an hour or two probing down an unknown signature just to get that crap, which then takes like another 45 minutes to clear. I would make more money mission running to be honest, but that stuff bores me to death. ----------------------------------------------------

And its highsec. Deadspace stuff should really be in lowsec/0.0 IMO. Especially since 0.0 exploration in certain regions yield less than highsec.

Well if you want to really want to get rid of any ability to make isk in high sec they should get rid of missions too. Make more off run level 4's then ratting in 0.0. ----------------------------------------------------

I agree completely.
However missioning does self-regulate. The more people mission, the less each LP is worth, so its not quite as bad.

when was the last time you did a lvl 4 in hi sec? i've made 50m in a few hours doing 0.0 belt ratting, and that sure as heck isn't what you make with a lvl 4 agent in empire.. lp gain is the biggest payout in mission running. and in hi sec that lp payout isn't all that much.
low sec is still the best. the reason some don't go there is that 0.4-0.1 you get ripped a new one by gatecamping supermoms and the likes, which resulted in a normal evolution of people migrating to hi sec since they don't want to log on to be ganked 24/7 and the pirates whine because they have the notion that ppl should log on so they could be pwned by them.
then we see empire gankings etc. because the pirates through their actions have caused ppl to linger in empire more. and the irony is that the pirates then blame people for being carebears if they don't want to jump into a low sec gatecamp.
those that don't stay in hi sec go to 0.0 and the pirates are stuck in the middle whining their butt off, cause they can't compete with the alliances.
also a lot of the players that are in empire use mission running to finance pvp, and also there are a lot that are just skilling up there and just getting enough to get the skills etc. they need to progress in game.
the massive empire farming with maxed skills etc. is not the norm, and even with that kind of farming, hi sec pays horribly low compared to 0.0 and low sec, it takes ages to get a navy bs.
the irony is aswell that most players that call others carebears have industrial and mining alts or mission runners in empire.
and farming in empire is not the norm either. most of the players there are new/semi new or/and getting iskies and biding their time to go out in low sec and 0.0 to play when they are ready for that. Yet some call everyone farmers if they are not making isk off pvp'ing. which is offcourse ridiculous with alliance/corp structure taken into consideration, which is totally dependent in a multitude of ways on this "farming", which is basically just pve. and what about belt ratting then? that's more profitable than running lvl 4 missions... and yes i've ratted in 0.0 before. it seems those that whine about empire have a rather short memory. Make an alt and go see what it's like.
so back to the op, someone calls him farmer because he does exploration, that is simply ridiculous. it seems that some ppl that SHOULD know what they are talking about, haven't got the faintest clue about eve besides pvp, nor how their alliances/corp functions/came to be. or if they do know they certainly do not display it when posting.
op, so that particular plex got nerfed a bit, there's plenty more opportunity out there, especially in low sec.
there's no problem with empire either, it's fine the way it is.

lol, you can make 50m easily "in a few hours" of L4 missioning in 0.5+ ...

faction drops + lots of other nifty stuff for trading.
if your working agents in a 0.5 sec then you can easily be dispatched to a 0.4 sec close by for your mission if it is not a command agent (97% kill) and even then, i think a 0.5 agents are on a very fine line between low and hi sec mission running. i'd call it mid sec really.
also there is no substitute for a 0.0 agent. ppl use high sec agents more and more as a natural outcome of too many harsh actions of careless pirates with lack of vision and foresight. and ppl use the hi sec agents, and then gradually pop out in 0.0, and all you get is the passersby's cause nobody wants to dine at your table that you peed all over. in other words, it's your own responsibility, and not an imbalance.
it can go in two ways perhaps both simulatenously. either a) you stop ganking everyone in sight in 0.4-0.1 and let various miners mine and general commerce commence.
or you will see corps and alliances rise that eventually will migrate to low sec and crush you.
0.0 alliances is out of this since they are doing the right thing anyways. it's just the 0.4-0.1 crew that somehow don't have a clue and exploit everything they can to do mindless pvp (contrary to a lot of 0.0 pvp, well the organized fleet kind anyways) and are then sad over them peeing all over their dinner table, and furious that nobody wants to come and dine with them.
stop whining about what you yourself created and start changing how you approach things in game, and then you might see a lot of other ppl in low sec.
besides, mission runners provide you with nice faction ships, iirc i saw a navy issue megathron for 450m in contract the other day, now imagine what the price would be if people put up with your bullsjit.. that's right.
ironically it's the low sec roaming gangs that needs to stop whining about empire and 0.0. and not the other way around
